Everything worked right out the box. the amp is not that great, but that's to be expected at this price. When the bass is plugged directly into my 8track (not using cheap amp) it sounds clean. This will get me started just fine.

This was my sons 1st bass. He bought it with his own money and was so excited and proud. He has 4 different ones now and still uses this one.

OMG! This bass is FENOMENAL especially for the price. It is just as good or even a bit better than my Gibson, Ibanez and some of my other bass guitars, (11total), that I own.The quality is great. The finish is great. The neck is outstanding, especially with the super glide satin finish for fast and easy playing. The pickups are just fine but an upgrade will surely help to make this even better. The practice amp is very adequate for the beginners and for playing in the house where you do not need very loud volume. I hooked up the bass to my Marshall head and the bass preformed beautifully.Out of the box the only thing that I had to do with this bass was to tune it, set the action and adjust the intonation on the E string.Beginners and experienced players definitely should get this bass.

This has a great sound and good playability—including the full two octaves of the 24-fret fretboard. I had to set the action a little higher than I’d like to avoid string buzz—but then I like it really low for endurance reasons while chording, so that’s a pretty minor caveat. On the whole, this is an absolutely stellar deal. The quality seems more like what I’d expect from a bass in the $500-$1200 range. It’s not just a starter bass, imo. (It *is* a starter amp: sounds pretty decent and is more than enough for solo practice but not loud enough for a band, as you’d expect from the size.) Fantastic deal. The bass and amp I received are Glarry, but exactly like the pictures and description aside from the branding, so probably just a change in company name or something.

The sound was okay. The Electric Bass Guitar sound should have been a little better, but it is okay. The amplifier is black, it is easy to pick up with one hand, and it is not have. The guitar is not to have, and they can be carried easily. The guitar pick is nice to have too.The guitar soft cover case is silky black. The amplifier has Four different knobs too. All the equipment arrived on time. It did not take 14, 13, 12 days. The guitar equipment kit arrived about 10 days. The guitar, the pick, the soft black cover case for the guitar is pretty. The price for all of these equipments are fantastic. Yes, the guitar is playable and performs okay

I have had good experiences with Glarry/Ktaxon/Irin products in general. Have bought, gifted or helped setup about 9 of them and they all have been very playable requiring only fine tuning on the setup. I am used to the thicker necks that need sanding and some oil and the moderate output from the electronics, but those are acceptable for the price range. The two 5 string basses I have had experience with do not match up to this standard. The pickups are not matched to the string separation so the poles do not align with the strings (B and G strings have especially weak outputs). This can even be seen in their promotional photos, so not an accident. Additionally, I have noticed mis-aligned bridges that were uncentered, in one case enough that the saddles were pulled at an angle and B string was almost off the fretboard near the high end of the neck. Overall, I can say I trust the 4's, beware of the 5's.
