UPDATE: I have been getting the run around on my refund. I sent both horns (the original order and the replacement) back and sent proof showing where they both shipped from UPS and they’re claiming that they have to “do an investigation” and it can take 7 MORE days to refund me my money! This is after I was assured by Amazon that the seller would process my refund in 48 hours after I contacted them before about not receiving my refund. Amazon washes their hands of it because it’s a third party seller, and the seller is giving me the run around. Steer clear! They initially were great about sending out a replacement, but they are making it very difficult to give me back my money after both horns proved to be defective. PLEASE go with another maker. Try Easton but THIS!? THIS is not the horn or the seller to deal with! I FINALLY got my refund after filing a claim against the seller with Amazon. Immediately, before the claim could be processed, the seller reached out to me and was mysteriously able to refund my money.Fast forward to Feb. 13th and I see where the seller has CHARGED ME AGAIN for the horn! I guess they thought I wouldn’t catch it. I immediately contacted them and asked WHY they charged me for this horn again. They basically said it was a mistake and they’d refund me. Again. I go through all of the same process with them trying to get my money back for the SECOND time. Finally, I filed a claim with Amazon and Amazon refunded me…or so they say. I’m still waiting for it as they say it could take 5-7 days. These people are a nightmare to get a refund from and shouldn’t have access to anyone’s payment information bc they will come back MONTHS later and try to charge you again after refunding you the money you had to fight them for! PLEASE do not order from this company!I ordered this horn for my daughter for Christmas to begin learning trumpet. I am a trumpet player and was looking for to teaching her as she asked. The first horn we received played great and had a decent sound for a cheap beginner instrument. It worked for about a week. Then one day I went to give my daughter her lesson and the horn would not allow air to pass through. I checked to make sure all the valves were in correctly and turned the right way. They were. I took out the tuning slides and each valve one by one and blew air through the horn to see if I could isolate where the issue was coming from. Air circulated through the horn with no resistance until I put the main tuning slide back in. Immediately air refused to go through the horn. I used a snake to run through the slide to be sure there were no obstructions. There was nothing blocking the air in the slide itself. I contacted the seller and immediately they sent out another one and were responsive, so kudos to their customer service.Update: I just received the replacement today. Upon taking it out of the case it was packaged nicely and looked great. I checked to make sure all the valves were turned around correctly (they were not, but no big. I just put them in correctly with some valve oil.) Input the mouthpiece in and handed the horn to my daughter. She couldn’t get the air to move through the horn. Exact same issue out of the box this time. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this horn. It looks great and has a decent sound when it worked, but there seems to be a specific defect with the main tuning slide on these horns that prevents air from passing through the horn.

This is a good trumpet for a starter, sounds really good and have had no problems with it thusfar. I consider getting this if you want to get into having your first brass instrument.

So far, when I got this trumpet, this is actually a pretty good one for those who are in a tight budget in terms of it being high quality. I also liked the sound quality too. Unfortunately, the instrument did not come with valve oil, so I have to buy one separately. I really recommend buying valve oil if you're gonna buy this instrument because if you don't, the valves will get stuck after playing it for a couple of times.

I looked at all of the silver trumpets on Amazon. They all seem to have been built at the same (I'm assuming) Chinese Factory. Thus I didn't really shop for anything except for "who at the time has the best price". I saw YT vids on these Chinese Amazon trumpets and they were impressive.I can't believe the quality of what I got. I started playing in 3rd grade and played thru 3 years in my college marching band. I haven't played for 30 years and decided to pick it up again. I'm not a student player nor a Pro. Always wanted a silver horn with a saddle on the 1st slide. Now I've got one for a great price! I previously purchased a Mendini Pocket trumpet also from Amazon and that was also great for an inexpensive price. I'm assuming the new trumpets made in India will also be good or will soon be of a quality that is totally worth it as well.

My son is a beginner, it works good for him. I don’t know much about trumpets. He’s been using it at school and seems to work fine. Looks great. At least it’s his to keep for the same price as renting one for 3 months from local music store.
