We were looking for foldable 20" bicycles to fit in the storage compartments of our RV to free up the hitch for other duties. We are casual bikers at the campsite, looking for something to Bum around on, do some light local rides, and make runs to the camp store. We first purchased the Viribus 20 inch foldable bike, and then purchased the Ktaxon Camping Survival 20" foldable bike. We are normal sized physically active but not triathelon type adults. The 20" bikes for our money are definitely not as solid feeling while riding as your standard 26" bikes. If your gig is doing lots of trail riding you won't be happy, at this price point anyway. We continue to throw the hitch on and bring the bigger bikes if we are anticipating a good deal of riding. You definitely give up some of the "solid" and "Stable" ride of the bigger bikes with the smaller foldable ones. Having said that, having the flexibility and being able to keep the bikes out of the elements in the RV storage compartments and always on the RV is a plus. The first 20" foldable we purchased was the Viribus as it was the cheapest one available. Be sure to factor in the shipping charges because some fast and loose advertising is going on and the shipping can make the cheapest appearing bike ending up costing you more at the checkout. The Viribus is what you would expect it to be at its price point- cheap feeling, but gets the job done. Sort of like doing your food shopping at Wal Mart instead of the nice grocery store. The feel riding and the seat are fair to OK. Downsides for our needs are the stock Viribus tires are really suitable for hard surfaces only, no foldable pedals, tires come underinflated, and no kickstand is included. If you need these features, then look at some other options that may costing you less in the long run. We don't regret the purchase, just evaluate closely what you will end up needing and a higher price point bike may be a better deal. For us, the ktaxon survivals camping 20 inch bike was similarly priced to the Viribus. Both have similar overall feel and quality to the bike construction, and both are similarly easy to fold up, and both required similar minimal assembly (mainly the reflectors) before use. Both feel similar riding- gets the job done, but not as solid an experience as a full size bike. The Survivals camping bike was more suited to our needs because it came with a multipurpose slightly knobby tire that is much better for both asphault and dirt roads, came with inflated tires, and includes a kickstand. We think it was the better deal overall for our needs. We will add a kickstand and change out the tires on the viribus (painful- getting the old ones off, purchasing new slightly knobby tires and installing them should be a couple hour and skinned knuckle exercise!). So, overall the Viribus isn't a bad deal, and may work for you if you mainly have an urban mission in mind, but overall the Survivals camping bike was a much better fit at this entry level price point for our RV/camping needs.

The bike came fully assembled which was really nice. The packaging was excellent. I still ended up with a warped front brake rotor though. I am hoping to get a replacement mailed to me. The bike seems well made holding my 240 lbs without a problem. There was no flex once it was unfolded and locked in place. It felt very stable while riding. The shifter worked fine out of the box and I only needed to air the tires before my first trip. I took off the one star due to the warped brake rotor. I will raise it to five stars if a new is mailed to me. Overall it is better then I expected and will fill my needs nicely. Took off 2 stars for total failure of customer service. I would not recommend this bike unless you have access to tools to get it into shape before riding. Will update again if I get the brake rotor that is required.UPDATE:No response from customer service either amazon or Ktaxon about the bent front brake rotor. Disc brakes are nice but not if they are damaged upon arrival. Also the seat post lock was inoperable and I had to replace it with a quality unit from amazon. Required cutting off the old one with a hand grinder.

The wait is totally incorrect on this item I cannot lift it so I'm trying to return it but the seller is playing games. They didn't send a proper return slip they seem to want me to ask for a refund and pay for the returns. I am a prime Amazon member and I expect to be able to return the bike the packaging wasn't even opened I couldn't even lift it into my car

I keep the bike in the trunk of my car in case I can find some opportunity to charge the battery (the one of the car). It works just fine, with the additional advantage that it has disc brakes, not very common in this price range. So far there is not a lot negative to say about the bike, although you can see that the built quality is not top notch… but it doesn’t cost top dollars so it’s more than ok

Poor build quality. Seat will not raise high enough for a person 5'11". Handlebars too far from seat. The handlebars are crooked. There is a manufactured "keyway" in the handlebar vertical shaft, and it is crooked (not 90 degrees from bike axis). The handlebars are also too far from the the seat, forcing the user to lean forward uncomfortably. The seat will not raise high enough for this 5'11" human to straighten legs while cycling.Overall, given that there are many options...I do not recommend. I like my old Zizzo much better even though it needs new wheels.
