I got these soles for my boots as an upgrade to the standard Kling-on soles. Felt is not allowed in Alaska and studs were not allowed on boats. These soles provided fairly good traction for river fishing, and worked well on boats, both drift boats and halibut fishing boats. They were just what I needed and between these and the original soles, I should be good for a long time.

I love the idea behind Korkers, I like the ease of use, I like that they’re attempting to reduce the volume of boots in the landfill, but the strap on the back where the sole attaches to the boot is a huge weak point. If I wear the same sole for a whole summer that strap is done and…it goes in the landfill. The idea is that they reduce volume in the landfill but not at the rate of a pair of soles per season.

Bought these thinking they were studded. They are not! Picture shows soles with studs. Other than that they would work. Ended up returning them to get studded ones.

These throughly impress me every single time I put them on. They are almost too grippy if there is such a thing. Every time I think they won’t bite and I’m going to slip, they grab on like they have suction cups. Smooth granite, freestone, shale, wood, dry, wet, doesn’t matter. I feel like I’m slipping on mountain goat powers. Now, I’m sure they have a limit, and I try to take it easy. But, in probably 15 miles of fishing in freestone and cobble rivers, I haven’t fallen yet. Even on snot rocks in high current, waist deep they hold. The regular rubber vibram are great too, but these haven’t left my boots since I got them. I will DEFINITELY but another pair as a back up. These completely replaced the omnitrax alumitrax soles I loved before. With far more grip, less noise and far less weight. Absolutely LOVE everything korkers and vibram I have purchased to date. From Us Coast to coast and even overseas. Never had a vibram product fail me.

The Idrogrip soles as so much better than the standard Kling-on soles. It really adds a lot of comfort and grip and makes a pair of Korkers feel like real hiking boots. Just wish these, and the soles in general were a little more affordable., but I'm not deducting any stars for the price, since I knew it ahead of time and the soles exceeded my expectations

They arrived fast. Fit perfect and so far are still in great condition. I fish just about everyday and walk a couple miles each trip through woods rock mud and up and down creek banks and havent noticed a bit of wear. Traction wasnt as good on the muddy hill sides but alot better then the felt soles i had before. All in all i would buy them again.

Have just used this sole and my Korkers and I'm delighted with their performance , fantastic wading with good stability . And walking through the bush was easy. I'm very happy with this pruduct.
