In a body proportioned to fit perfectly in front of your laptop computer, the nanoKONTROL2 provides eight channels of the controllers you need to control your music software. The nanoKONTROL2 also features a dedicated transport control section. The buttons have been carefully selected to be useful with your software, ensuring simple and intuitive control. Many software titles – including major DAW programs – are supported, dramatically reducing the need to make complicated connection settings.
Complete control for your DAW or software synthesizer
A knob, fader, and three switches are provided for each of the eight channels, respectively assigned to pan, volume, and solo/mute/record. This arrangement is a real convenience when recording automation for multiple channels. There's also a marker button, making it easy to assign marks at important points in your song for more efficient recording and song production. When using a software synthesizer, you can assign parameters to the desired controllers for easy control.
USB power for an uncluttered setup
Just connect a single USB cable from your computer to the nanoKEY2, and you've got a quick and portable music production system. Power and USB-MIDI data travels down the same wire for a clean, efficient workspace.
Using a USB cable to connect to the Apple Camera Connection Kit, Korg nanoSERIES2 controllers can be used with the iPad, without an external power supply (*3). You can enjoy iPad App like KORG iMS-20 (*4) along with nanoSERIES2 (*4).
Korg Kontrol Editor software
The nanoKONTROL2 works with the "KORG Kontrol Editor" software – available free on the KORG website. Load it into your computer, and use it to make detailed customized settings. For example, the minimum and maximum values for each control change message can be specified.

I wanted something cheaper than the $300 Traktor X1 just to enable and dial in effects because I can't stand the ones built into the Traktor S3 console and this works great with the midi layout provided from djtechtools. Feels sturdier than the price which is great. Love it

I bought one of these 9 years ago (a black one). I don't use it a ton but it's still working well.I wanted a second one for the extra keys, so I bought one in white.These are great little MIDI controllers. They're very small, but the keys are the correct width.Great for using with a laptop, or for casual use without having to set up a full-size keyboard.

Eu tava procurando um primeiro controlador pra começar a produzir e o Nanokey 2 atendeu muito bem o que eu precisava. Ele é bem completo, 25 teclas, sobe e desce até 3 oitavas, tem controlador de pitch, sustentação e modificador que acredito ser customizável. É bem pequeno, super leve, muito bonito esteticamente. As teclas ficam levemente balançando, parecem ser levemente mal encaixadas e às vezes parece que não vai clicar do jeito esperado, mas o clique acontece. No geral, achei um ótimo teclado.

Absolutely stunning device, Light-weight and compact but IT DOESNT FEEL CHEAP! Right out of the box i just WORKS, and for usb midi thats actually really good, any keyboard I have bought in the past 2 years I always had to trouble shoot for hours to make it work but nope, Not gonna have that problem AT ALL.My one and ONLY complaint is that the keys wiggle from sides to side a bit (but it kinda helps as you can hit the key from an angle and it will register every time) mind you, It doesn't detract from the experience but it just looks like a point of failure waiting to happen but we shall see! It is just quite simply a midi keyboard and I love it for it, Never have I had a midi that can actually fit your pocket (Albeit sticking out a lil) making this thing a MUST HAVE if you are a musician on the go, Regardless of where you are at and platform (Other reviews indicate successful use on android via otg, and IOS is supported right outta the box) it will JUST WORK. Fantastic stuff, leave it to korg to shake up the market with some ACTUAL competition. Lots of love your software and it look like you put the same care into your hardware as well, Thank you korg for such a fantastic budget option!

Bought this to perform live with FL Studio 11 and it worked great! What's cool about the nanoKONTROL (1 or 2) with the latest version of FL is that FL gives you a file that you can just drag and drop into the included KORG software that pre-maps all the transport controls and makes all the other buttons, knobs and faders assignable to ANY button, knob, or fader in FL. I've been using this in live performances to crossfade between tracks with the faders, turn effects on/off or launch samples with the buttons, and use the knobs to control Lo/Hi-pass filters...etc, but like I said: These controls are mappable to ANYTHING! No MIDI programming required! Just right click and tweak. You can even go in further and change the way the software responds to knob tweaks. eg: instead of a smooth rotation, make the parameter increase by increments of 10%. Useful for changing things like LFO speed....Another great feature of the device itself is its size. This thing can go anywhere! I don't have a lot of desk space but this fit great right in front of my desktop keyboard. It also has small rubber grips on the bottom so that it doesn't slide around when your practicing. I would have liked the extra knob/ fader combo from the nanoKONTROL1, but this one has more buttons and the transport controls seem to be in a more convenient layout than its predecessor. The actual size of the controls is nice too: small enough to have a lot of them, but still chunky enough to make it easy to tweak parameters without looking down.The only con that I have is that there are no markers around the knobs. But all in all: Great product for a great price!!! Thanks KORG!
