It was a fine receiver , but died 1 month before the warrantee expired. I sent several emails to tech support and 1 month later (after warrantee expiration) still had not heard anything. It would have been given 5 stars for performance had they honored the warrantee. At least it was inexpensive. I installed my GTMEDIA V8Pro2 in place of it, and still running fine. I initially replaced it (GTMEDIA) thinking there was a problem with it, but a factory reset fixed it.

Koqit V5H H.265 libre al aire FTA receptor de satélite DVB-S2 Receptor de TVIt makes me very sad to have to tell the truth about the situation. The item I received came defective from the factory and it is a real shame. Even though the product turns on, the remote control does not communicate with it. After performing all the necessary tests, I confirmed that the problem lies with the machine's receiver, which is damaged. This is my second order for the same product, since the first one was lost in the postal mail. Although Amazon promised to refund my money, the problem persists, since I will lose the shipping money when returning the product. Unfortunately, there appears to be a damaged batch of this product and therefore I do not recommend purchasing it until the issue is resolved. Thanks to Amazon and the selling company, but it is important that they better verify the operation of the product before shipping it.

Nags first. As it came, only set up for one West Coast USA satellite. The USB media player stutters when playing MP3 from a thumb drive. As others have said, the remote control interface is a little clunky. I couldn't update the software over the internet because the path is to long to enter into the receiver.The upside is the update it from a thumb is easy. The improvements with the upgrade are so good I would recommend having a thumb drive & doing the upgrade before you do anything else.This is not just a satellite receiver. It comes with a USB WiFi dongle & features it's own YouTube player. I haven't fully explored everything it can do, but have tested some of the features like IPTV & they work fine. Software is a little rough, but it is almost like they are shooting to become a combination satellite receiver & smart TV box like a Fire Stick or Roku.

I purchased this receiver for about $27 U.S. dollars. I have two receivers and my Koqit V5H FTA satellite gets the job done. Its got a USB PVR for recording shows and playback is excellent! For the money, the receiver does its job and may not be as advanced as my second receiver but I'm not complaining because I watch it for pretty much one satellite and the channels are beautiful to watch. If you're looking for a starter receiver the Koqit V5H is a great one to have. The remote isn't my favorite but its well built as well.
