I love how thin these ice bag freezer’s are. It’s as wide as a cooler lays flat on the bottom of a bag or sides and it is quick to freeze. Saves major freezer space. Slides right along the side of your freezer & in 20 ish minutes ur off to go run shopping errands in the heat & knowing your perishables will make it until home. Thank you!

These are the perfect ice packs to bring in your cooler. They’re compact yet they keep everything cool. They’re easy to clean and refill. I have purchased a few packages of these and they fit all of my coolers.

On the plus side, these ice packs are slim and fit easily into my freezer. I like the hard plastic case, as it keeps its shape. I've been struggling with the ice packs that are like plastic pillows, which you have to be careful to freeze in as flat a position as possible. Otherwise, you wind up with lumpy edges, which are not great for fitting into a cooler (or in my case, my undercounter fridge, which has ceased to cool my produce). On the con side, these things don't stay frozen very long. They freeze quickly, and melt quickly. I've tried leaving them in the deep freezer for a couple of days, but the contents still melt quickly.I haven't tried them in a picnic cooler. Again, they will fit inside easily, but if what you're after is an icy-cold beverage, you are better off with buying a couple bags of ice, and burying your drinks for a refreshing experience.

I like to use these when I take a 9 X 13 chilled or frozen dessert somewhere. They’re thin and quite large and work perfectly - one below and one on top of the pan inside the cooler. I prefer ice packs rather than ice cubes as I’d rather not deal with the water mess.Oh and they re-freeze quickly too. I’d buy again.

I bought 4 of these cooling pads to keep our 8.4cu ft. Dometic refrigerator cool while we travel down the road with the refrigerator off and they exceeded my expectations! The first experiment was with an empty refrigerator / freezer. I completely froze the four plates in our home freezer and chilled the camper refrigerator for 24hrs.After 24hrs an empty refrigerator was 40.5D F. The freezer was below 32D F (my IR thermometer does measure below 32 and just displays ‘Lo’).I placed 3 pads in the fridge and 1 in the freezer and turned the refrigerator off. After 6 hours the fridge was 41.1D F. The Freezer was 40.0DF. This was great but told me that 1 is not good enough to keep the freezer below freezing for more than 6 hours.I next tried a trip with a partially loaded refrigerator. The refrigerator started out at 38.2 D F (due to the addition of a usb cooling fan) freezer was ‘Lo’ as before but we didn’t load the freezer based on prior results. Again 3 pads were on the shelves and 1 in the freezer and I turned the Dometic off. We drove for 9 hours. After 9 hours the refrigerator was at 50.1D F and the freezer was the same. We did open the fridge once during a lunch time stop. So overall the food remained cold. Again the freezer seemed to track the fridge when off.Overnight I turned the Dometic on, reconnected the USB fan, and refroze the cooling pads. By morning the fridge was 38D F and freezer was ‘Lo’. The pads were refrozen and I placed one in each shelf and one in the freezer and turned the domestic off. After 5 hours of driving we stopped at our destination. The fridge was 40.5D F and the fridge was the same.Over all we were very happy with the results. These ice packs are thin so they don’t take up a lot of refrigerator space. They freeze hard and fast. An overnight freeze was all that was needed to have them ready for the next day. These enable me to use our refrigerator without brining along and extra cooler. This also allows me to keep the fridge cool without running the gas or electricity as We drive down the road and this makes us more safe.My next experiment will be to buy another set to keep the freezer colder along the way. Please note: we kept the refrigerator and freezer closed during the trips (unless noted) until we stopped. The data reported was my experience for only one trip. Your results may vary for a variety of reasons.Based on my experience, I definitely recommend the cooling pad for those RV’rs who want to conserve space and use their Dometic refrigerator/freezers w/o using gas or electric while traveling down the road.
