This snow plow, so far, has been a great addition to my Coleman UT400. I have only used it one snowy winter and it has done a great job for my graveled driveway. The unit feels to be of a good construction. The assembly instructions are OK, but there are a lot of people who have spent a lot of time showing and explaining a step by step assembly of the blade, use them. Two problems I had/have and the first was getting the blade brackets attached to my UTV. I had to purchase different sized U Bolts to attach the brackets to my UTV. I also had to drill holes in the UTVs bottom mud guards underneath so that could continueto use them. If you do not have a large shop building to install the plow, make sure you install the snow plow in the fall while it is dry (you have to crawl underneath the UTV to connect the plow arms onto your UTV). The other problem I have had with it is with the two skid shoes that keeps the blade off the ground while plowing. Since I have a graveled driveway, the shoes keep creeping up. I have tightened them as much as I'm comfortable to tightened and they still keep creeping up probably because of hitting larger gravel rocks. I also bought the yellow blade markers and the rubber top blade snow deflector.

I have a farm tractor with a front bucket and a rear blade, but I got this plow for my side by side and I installed it at 60 inches (it can be widened to 72). I have used it a half dozen times and I really like how quickly I clear small snow events around two houses. I'm guessing a 12 inch snow would make me get the tractor out. The mount to the side by side required drilling two holes and the mount seems a bit light, but the plow works quite well so far. Don't jam it into frozen snow banks. That would be a mistake.

I was hesitant about ordering this. The price is right, but the construction is worrisome. The install was okay. The hardest part was installing the mounting bracket. It worked without drilling or removing the skid plate. I did cut two small holes in the skid plate to get the bolts to work.It took me about an hour to build the plow, and another hour to install the mounting plate. I am mechanically proficient. After a few uses the plow blade has a slight bend backwards from the center of the blade.I have the springs tightened all the way but the plow still gives way too easily. The springs are just too weak. This results in the blade tipping forward and just riding over the snow. It leaves several inches of snow behind. Not always, but more often than I'd like or have experienced with other plows of similar cost.I have this setup as the 72in size. The design leaves a lot to be desired. The three piece plow is held together by screws. There are only two screws that hold the two side pieces of the plow blade. It's a poor design. I am considering welding it together where the two ends meet the middle piece. Some extra angle iron could be added across the back of the blade to give it a little more strength.I am not very optimistic about the longevity of this unit.It is expensive for the low quality. If I had to do it over(which is likely in the future) I would probably get a one piece plow blade instead. It is better than shoveling, but I would look elsewhere.

This is a light duty plow, so don't expect it to plow like a Boss on a pickup truck, but it does great for what it is. Perfect for clearing your residential driveway. Not heavy enough for commercial use, you will bend it and break it.The fitment is excellent on my Coleman UT400, I did not need any additional hardware. A pleasant surprise, as this machine has basically no aftermarket support and it's tough to find anything that fits out of the box. The only modification I had to make was to drill some holes through the skid plate for the U-bolts to go through. I had to loosen some screws holding the floor down in order to get the U-bolts between the floor and the frame rails, but after they're in, I tightened them back up and you wouldn't notice the difference.

We got the Kolpin switchblade for utv and put It on our kawasaki teryx 800. It took us about 5 hrs to install. The 1st time we used it was 5" of light snow worked like a charm. The 2nd time we had 4" of heavy wet snow and ice let's just say my husband and I were delighted this plow worked FANTASTIC through it. It is now 3/15/23 and now more heavy wet snow 7" total. My husband is thrilled with this plow it had saved us s lot od shoveling by hand. The value and quality is substantial we would recommend this plow. We live in Maine so the weather is unpredictable. Sorry I do not have a video but this plow is amazing.

I attached this to a Yamaha Wolverine with no real issues. The newer models of wolverine you will have to change from what the instructions show as the frame pieces have changed a bit, but it's not hard. Plowed through about 20-24 inches of snow the other day with zero issues. Probably not sturdy enough for heavy use if you are doing a small business parking lot or something.... but it will clear my long driveway pretty quick!

Plow assembly was pretty straightforward. The company has a good youtube video that I watched prior to putting it together, but that really isn't needed. They only hairy part is when you mount the universal plate to your UTV. I have a 2012 RZR 570 that has been used quite a bit in the woods. The directions tell you to drill a small hole in the skid plate. Thats great if you have a new UTV. If you use yours, you will have about 3 inches of mud on top of that skid plate. Just lop off the skid plate where the U bolts go in. Trust me; it will be way easier. As for the construction, this is great for my 1/4 mile driveway 10-12 times a year. If you are looking to start a business with this guy, get something a bit more heavy duty.
