This Tomoe River 52gsm paper is rubbish and useless for fountain pen writing. On the other hand Kokuyo Campus Loose Leaf Paper is a great ,affordable fountain pen friendly paper. I'm into fountain pen collecting and writing and this paper went far beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this product. I will buy more of it in a near future.

I have bought a campus notebook with this paper back when I was in Japan.It is very good quality and not see-through at all when using gel pens or highlighters.I love the thoughtfulness of the designers, creating little dots do make it easier to draw lines or other figures aswell as the headline. Both looks very clean, simple and minimalistic.I will definitely continue using this paper for all my notebooks ! :)

great paper! somehow makes my handwriting better? i have use pen, pencil, markers, and highlighter on this paper and they all glide on due to the paper texture. i don't really get any bleed through cause of the thickness, only some occasional shadows depending on your pressure using markers or highlighter. this is my favorite grid paper and fits into my notebook of the same brand perfectly.

What I love about this paper is that it is sturdy so pens and markers aren’t see through. I also like that the paper has dots on them which helps me keep my notes neat and organized.

This is great paper, and I Love that it comes from Japan, so I KNOW it is made with great durability.I just wanted to mention one thing for those of you, who like me, are visually impaired. This paper has lines AND dots on it, but it is the dots that are nearly invisible for me, which is why I bought the paper--for the dots. So just take note. The lines and dots are FAINT.

Please note when buying this paper that you are not paying for just any old loose leaf paper. This is silky smooth, the stuff of dreams. Truly legendary paper in my personal opinion. I do consider myself to be a stationary and note taking geek, I love to have an organized and neat looking desk and I value the look and feel when taking notes. This paper was made for me, it is so smooth to write on especially when using a gel pen as it just glides across the paper like butter. If you are just looking to refill your paper in the cheapest way possible, look elsewhere as 100 sheets is not much for this price. However if you truly care about the feel and look of your paper refills then this is the paper for you and it is absolutely worth it.

I purchased these for my Smart Binder (same brand) a while back, and I'm not even finished with the whole pack yet! I love the sheerness and softness of the paper, and it doesn't allow pens and most highlighters to bleed through in my experience. The paper takes ink very well, and it will not smudge if you use fountain ink / pen on it.

I have been using this brand of paper for three years now, I believe; the first time I used them, I got them in thrift in Goodwill, I was in awe with the paper for its feel and its sturdiness, and now I have been using it ever since then. Take note that I write firmly on the paper, so when I erase the paper, it leaves trails of the erased word or sentences, sometimes, it gets crumpled easily when I am erasing, but other than that, overall, my rating is 4/5! WILL BUY IT AGAIN!

This is honestly the best paper I've ever used. Nothing bleeds through it, it's got a very smooth texture, and I love how the lines and dots are faint so your writing is more organized and stands out more. I definitely would rather use this along with the Kokuyo Notebook Binders than using regular notebooks (composition, five star, etc.) because you can write back to back without worrying about bleed throughs', you can move the papers wherever you like -in and out of a binder-, and most importantly, you don't have to waste paper like you would with thick notebooks. I've used notebooks all my life for school, but I'm glad that I changed to this loose leaf paper before wasting even more paper.
