fairly easy to replace, first one arrived broken, that's shipping not product, but make sure the little plastic "hinges" are intact when you open it. Amazon made it easy to get the replacement.

The only problem with this replacement part is that the plastic chain tends to float and bind up on itself. The remedy is to keep adjusting the chain until it has the least slack without leaving the valve open and bending the operating arm a little bit to the front to keep it clear.
