Well built of solid wood. It’s nice that this futon has an internally hinged bed spring so it doesn’t wear out unnecessarily. Only gripe is that the drawers are not on slides. The drawers just tuck underneath and drag along the floor. However, the drawers won’t be used often in my case.

This Futon Is Solid Wood One Of The Highest Quality Futons I Have Come Across Which Is What I Was Looking For I Purchased A 3 Inch Memory Foam Topper And This Thing Is Perfect As A Whole It Is a Little Tough To Close With One Person But To Fix That I Added A Hand Strap In The center Top Of The Backrest So You Can Pull The Backrest Closed While Lifting In The Front And It Became Fairly Simple I Would Highly Recommend The Instructions And Wood Pieces Are color Coded With Stickers 10 of 10 Awesome Customer Service As Well 🙏🏽

The futon is well built with solid wood and was fairly easy to put together, took about 40min. After I put it together I noticed that the futon mattress was the wrong color and contacted the company and asked if they could send the right color mattress cover, and they were very friendly and helpful, and I got and email confirmation the same day that they had shipped the mattress cover. Best customer service I’ve had in years. Great job y’all

Really impressed with how well made it is along with how it went together with quality connections for sturdy feel Comfortable to sit on even for a taller person like me 6'2". Look forward to using it more.

I opened this and quickly realized Kodiak sets the standard for packaging and instructions. The hardware is sent in a cardboard silhouette tray and every piece is numbered. The instructions are easy to follow and pieces are sent with colored stickers to match adjacent pieces, which helps avoid installing parts backward.The furniture itself is sturdy with a walnut color stain. The mattress shipped separately and arrived a day after the frame. Great timing!One word of advice when assembling: Leave the screws between the back stretcher and the arm loose to help when setting the bed frame into the arms. Once the bed frame is in, tighten those screws, and away you go. You'll see this step in the instructions and it'll make sense.
