I needed to replace the chain on my rain chain because the original one had unsoldered links and broke. This chain is ingenious the way they connect without a gap. Worked great.

Used this to hang some lanterns in my apartment. The chain shape is unique and feels strong, yet it was easy to cut to the length I needed with a Leatherman tool.

I had a chain like this I brought out of Walmart years ago that but it is currently discontinued. The chain I brought years ago from Walmart was magnetic and this one is definitely not magnetic. If you don't need something magnetic then this probably with work for you.

Although this product is a similar concept as a sash chain as we know it, it is very poorly designed (perhaps to save a small amount of brass sheet.) The links lack sufficient clearance with each other and the chain kinks anytime it is slack. It works only if the application keeps the chain straight and taut at ALL times.
