These binders where just the right size to hold the propane tank on our travel trailer in place yet make for quick and easy removal. Had to make one adjustment to one end so as not to lose the chain and hook on the top. These are perfect for this job.

Beware, it states it has a 175lb load capacity. It fails before that due to the manufacture now using hollow ended rivets at the joints.

Works as anticipated. The lever is extremely difficult to grasp once set, particularly if the load is approaching the specified maximum value. The lever is of lesser rigidity than the rest of the binder and the flat hook end will bend if the binding chain or cable are misaligned when loading the binder. There are what appear to be more durable binder options available at a lower price. Checkout the Maasdam 48979M.

I bought these to make simple woven gates I needed a load binder to close the top of the gate while the bottom of the post is in a wire loop on the bottom.. I find these are handy to have around a farm to close more gates and wire doors..
