I purchased this set for my daughter. She needed a case and I figured this case looks nice and it will function for some of her straight needles. But to her delight the knitting needles inside or an excellent condition. They are smooth, made a stainless steel, and sturdy. They also come in odd sizes but not so odd that they're not functional. She truly enjoys the set of knitting needles and the case. I would recommend these.

My review is for a knitting needle case, not a set of knitting needles. I like the gray color of this case and the lighter blue interior fabric lining. This case is made from a material that seems like it will be durable. The zipper works well and the attached plastic case for accessories is nice. There is room for both long and short needles and ten pair fit nicely in the case. It is not a protective case or a hard case, so there is some chance that needles may still be crushed, bent, or damaged. The strong smell upon opening the package was off putting and the case I received was sewn incorrectly. When closed it is visibly crooked. Despite the smell and being a little aesthetically off putting, it is still useful. For organization purposes it works well.Update: The smell will not go away, despite washing. If anything, the smell seemed to get stronger after the item was dry. I don't feel comfortable using it.

The case is a nice size for knitting needles and knitting accessories. A small zip pocket inside holds smaller things.

Easy access compartments; Four yarn holes to easily run different strands so you can work without having to remove the skeen/ball from the bag (which is perfect for Yarn Workers on the go); Adjustable strap with sturdy lobster style hooks; Four pockets (two large side pockets & two end pockets); Roomy main compartment that easily accommodates the yarn along with your current project (the four yarn holes are located in this part of the bag); Secure compartments inside of two pockets for your tools (crochet hooks, knitting needles); The other two pockets easily accommodates miscellaneous tools (stitch markers, yarn snips, tapestry needles, patterns); All of the pockets are zippered; Great size for travel (not too big) which makes it perfect to carry your current project along wherever you go; The Whimsical Bees & Daisies on a Powder Blue background pattern is the finishing touch that makes this bag such a delight to own! I highly recommend this bag for any Yarn Worker! Great gift idea for yourself, or a special Yarn Worker in your life (they'll love it and so will you)!!!
