I am making dishcloths for Christmas gifts in my knitting group. I need 32. This pattern book is so nice. I ordered a second one to add with the friendship dishcloth as a gift for a friend. It was a good purchase.

I've made many different kinds of dishcloths over the years, I've have tons of patterns, Nevertheless I have never seen patterns like these ones. I tried them all, no errors in book, they are beautiful. I am thinking about utilizing one of the patterns and make a bunch for a blanket. This is my favourite dishcloth/ blanket book. It's way nicer than the description and cover of book.Happy Knitting

I trying to come back to knitting because it help me to calm down. I tried to follow more complicated patterns and learn new stiches, but I made a lot of mistakes. This little booklet is easy but at the same time it requires a bit of attention because it switch for knit and purl stiches. It is quick as there are only 34 stiches to cast on and 63 rows to knit. Although, I am not sure what to do with a dishcloths...I look forward to sit down and start knitting, even if it is only few minutes.

I love this book because the patterns are easy but not boring because you have to read the pattern for every row which uses simple knit and purl stitches.. I purchased it so I can make the dishcloths / blocks and stitch them together to make an afghan. I'm making it all in cream and I like the textured look. It's fun to see each new design come together. The blocks are a great project for new knitters.

This book brings together a selection of easy patterns based on knit and purl stitches. It provides a very basic guide to the two stitches but there are plenty of video tutorials available online to get the novice started. I started off watching the basics and then made a practice swatch. I picked one of the patterns to try and had no trouble following it, the instructions are very clear and in a comfortably-sized font. I daresay a more experienced knitter would not find these patterns very challenging, but they are ideal for absolute beginners. Although they are based only on the most basic stitches they are attractive and give a sense of achievement to the novice knitter.
