These knee pads do a good job of protecting my knees from hard surfaces.They are designed differently than other knee pads I have used before. The cushion and support of these is concentrated below the knee area instead of right on my knee cap. It is designed so that your knee cap goes into the center of the circle. This is surprisingly very comfortable and works well for anyone who doesn't like pressure on their knee cap.I found I had to work a little to get the straps adjusted the perfect amount so that the pads stayed on without binding too tight. Once I got the fit set right then I could get up and down easily without having to adjust their position.These are great for gardening but also good for doing any chores that has me kneeling.

Garbage, don't buy these. These knee pads have no contouring, so they don't fit your knees right at all, and then slide around and shift anytime you try to use them. They are convex on both sides, what the heck

I got these for our large garden and appreciate that the straps are adjustable so that either I or my husband can use them. The straps also allow me to adjust the amount of tension I need with the pads. The foam is thick enough that I can kneel with full weight on them for an extended period of time without feeling rocks pressing into me.

I like working in the garden and metal detecting, but my knees just can't take a lot of kneeling. I had a cushioned pad to kneel on, but it's a pain to keep moving around, and I don't have any way to carry it when I'm metal detecting. These knee pads are great because I can put them over whatever pants I'm wearing (or even directly on my legs when I'm wearing shorts). They are easy to strap on and they have a good amount of cushioning. The surface seems like it will be easy to clean when they inevitably get caked with dirt. I love the color, too!

I am very impressed with these. They have thick padding for comfort and the straps are long, so the edge is on the side of my leg and not uncomfortably pressed between my thigh and calf when sitting back.The lower strap fits just above the thick part of my calf, so they don't slip down when I am walking to get to the next area of garden.Less importantly, the green color is pleasing to the eye.I like the little spots of plastic to prevent slipping, although, I haven't used them on wet, smooth surfaces, yet.Overall, great product. Will purchase again.

I was looking for knee pads to use for around the house projects (my knees are not getting any younger!) and picked these because they seemed to be a bit more for "amateur" use than most of the other ones that look to be better for construction type work. These are perfect for my purpose, easy to put on (velcro straps), comfortable and soft material and enough cushioning to do the job. Definitely not for roofers etc, but great for household use!
