Nice light duty knee guard. I would have bought the XL size but other reviewers mentioned they run a little small. I ordered the XXL and they fit great. I took them out today I was impressed.

These don't slip down which is great. Fit pretty tight but that is ok. A little uncomfortable on a really long day, but definitely feel sturdy and they stay up. Great for a couple of hours out there on the mtb

I want to love these a bit more, because I’m a Leatt fan and use their Z-frame knee braces for off-pavement dual-sport riding, among other items. However, they strike me as basically sufficient. They tend to slide down a little over the course of a ride, and I’m thinking the exposed molded padding material is just sticky enough to probably cause an issue in long riding pants (will have to wait to find out). I have a feeling I’ll upgrade or sidegrade at some point.Update:We’re back to super hot weather in my riding area and I’ve returned to these over the TLDs I’ve been wearing over the winter and spring. They are still very cool and comfy compared to my other options, and they sadly still slide down (the upper part, over the knee). I’ve gotten in the habit of checking them every single time I stop. I would not wear beneath pants, basically because it would be hard to pull them back up through the pants material. My TLDs are better for that.

These should fit great if you measure yourself correctly.I’m writing this review after they helped save my knee during a wipeout on a ride. It wasn’t the first time they hit the ground, but it was the first time when I was super glad I had them on. They didn’t move on impact and they took the hit really well. One thing that probably helped was the small pads on the side of the knee. I came down with my bike in a weird jam and that’s where the frame hit me. The pads on top of the knee are nice, too. These breathe pretty well, and I don’t get too hot with them on, even riding around in 80+ degrees.Edit: 5 months later, they’re still holding up great. They fit well in the small straps on a Dakine Hot Laps 2L waist bag if you don’t want to wear them right away. They roll up tight enough you could strap them to your frame if you don’t use a bag of any kind.

Does exactly what they were designed to do. Leatt makes quality gear. I like that there light weight and somewhat breathable. I choose these over my hard cups most of the time.

Bought these and a set of Fox Enduro Pros to compare. The Leatt guards appear to be well made and offer a more substantial knee pad than the Fox Enduros. The Leatt guards are bulkier than the Fox Enduros. The Fox Enduro has a pad that goes down to mid-shin whereas the Leatt guards stop a bit below the knee. The Leatt guards have a cutout behind the knee which will enhance comfort on longer rides.A good guard. After a few minutes of wearing them, my skin started itching at the upper silicone band. I have skin allergies, so if you do not, these might be good for you.

I really like these. They are comfortable (as in you forget you have them on after a bit) and work well. I did a slide in on rocks the other day. Did not really notice that I had touched down on my knee till saw some scrapes on knee pads later. Never felt it and was not bruised. Would definitely by again. I really appreciate the small pads on the sides where you typically knock the bike frame when things go south!
