I own a 2009 mazda5 and I was trying to find a trashcan for my car. This is perfect. I attached the strap around my shifter. It lays on the floor on the passenger side. Doesn’t interfere with my passengers while sitting in my car. It’s got a flat bottom and sits nicely on the floor and the strap is adjustable. It can easily hang off of the headrest facing towards the back

The capacity of the bin is good enough for car. It has buttons on both side to hold the trash liner in place. Looks fine for the car and is very useful as there is always something in my daily use to trash away and instead of keeping it in the cup holders or the spaces of the car doors, a trash bin keeps all trash at one place. Easy to clean. It just gets a but uneasy on the passenger side seat as the bin is coming in between. Maybe if it has a velcro on the bin so it can be stuck somewhere at the leg space.

The container was exactly as described and perfectly suited to its intended purpose which is the collection and retention of the miscellaneous trash that gets generated in my car. It was well protected in a bubble-wrap envelope, and instructions for assembly were helpfully printed on the products bag. Remarkably, I received this order about 16 hours after I placed it. Kudos to Amazon.

I just retired and doing a part time job where I am in the car a lot. I didn't have a good place to put the trash and was constantly cleaning out my car. I got this because I liked that it had snaps on the side that would hold a bag in place. The bag arrived and it was easy to put in my car. I put the strap around the top of the middle console to set in the back. It hangs off of the console. I was able to easily tighten the strap for it to hold in place. I just used a plastic grocery bag and it works great. It was easy to push the snap into place with the bag between it. It is very accessible to me and the passenger.

Great little trash can for your car! I keep the strap around a large cupholder/tray so it hangs on the passenger side against the console. You could probably hang it from the shifter but I just foresee that annoying and in the way. Stays where I put it and has just enough length to touch the floor in that area. I reuse plastic bags from grocery stores and the side snaps are excellent for snapping through it and keeping the bag in place. Bonus, I got carsick on the way home the other day (of course the one time when I forgot to replace the bag in the bin) and it held strong! No leaking even without a bag until we got to the gas station and disposed of it. This may also sound odd, but it was also quite comfortable and quiet to puke in instead of using just a bag. I was able to sit it flat on my lap and hold the sides open. Purchased another one to replace it right away as soon as I got home. This time I won't forget to put a bag in it! LOL! So if you have passengers that easily get carsick, this may also be a great option.

Como madre de 3 niños pequeños, suelo llevar el coche siempre lleno de envoltorios de comida y de botellines de agua vacíos y, por supuesto, de Kleenex usados. Esta papelera ha sido un salvavidas, porque lo he enganchado a la guantera central y así llegan los 3 perfectamente para tirar la basura dentro en vez de dejarla en el suelo como hacían antes.

It's smaller than I thought it would be, but it fits nicely in the back seat of my BMW X3. I attached it to the center console and it sits in the middle on top of the hump. I just pulled the adjuster to make sure it stayed in place. It holds at least two coffee cups and other garbage before I have to throw it out. Definitely a good buy and my car is a lot neater now. Delivery was lightning fast.
