Great balance, deep base, but on some movements, it does become muddy and scattered, but overall an amazing little puppy.

It was easy to set up. The Crossover & Gain knobs allow you to dial in to match the music or movie you are watching. We are now hearing the lower end even with classic vinyl records that we never heard before.

Slick, compact, powerful, pet-friendly down-fitting woofer. Almost great. It's not wireless, which I don't mind. You can always adapt it. It's also the smallest sub from Klipsch. Unfortunately, there is no soft power down. When the signal cuts off, there is a pop. Maybe it's my speakers, but those are Klipsch the Fives. This should not be happening!Oh, the low bass is powerful. Keep it at 80hz- it is not punchy. Even though it's effective and easily overpowers a room, it's relying on excursion of the smaller woofer. Therefore, bass heads living in open barns should size up. This unit's Achilles heel is dynamics (and punch, thus keep it crossed over low for lots listening). It still will put down way more rumble than you need-and as much as anyone should probably want. To be fair, I find I turn it down for most movies and shows-almost never up. I've never had a problem with to much bass for any music-not even old school 90s Miami bass rap.

Prodotto di qualità. Resa impensabile per le dimensioni veramente contenute. Ha rinvigorito il mio impiantino in soggiorno composto da un quasi cinquantenne Pioneer SA-8100 e due diffusori da scaffale Indiana Line!

I had a 20 year old subwoofer that I thought was "good enough" because I thought my hearing was going anyway. This subwoofer with the matching Bookshelf speakers BLOWS ME AWAY. The clarity is amazing even on ultralow bass notes while what I thought was hearing loss abruptly vanished. Midranges are crisp and undistorted and I can barely crank the sub up past 1 on the knob without it actually becoming visceral enough to vibrate a solid concrete high rise apartment. Once you find the right EQ and Levels these speakers outperform anything else I've ever owned.

While this product is no longer in production if you find it it's worth getting. Why? Klipsh makes a good quality mid-range subwoofer that makes it affordable to buy two subs. Why two subs ? You don't have the problem of sub frequency dead spots that you get with one sub. In my case I have a 10" front and an 8" down, the 10" takes the sub-base freq's the 8" takes the base-band freq's and my floor-standers take the upper-base band freq's. The result is I can loosen the fillings in my teeth with "NO" distortion while my subs and woofers only have to work at a 1/4 to 1/3 of their power to achieve it. One last tip, I don't care how big your floorstanders are set your crossover at 100 not 80 and let them focus on the upper-base band for clarity. If you read this far this can apply to any sub or subs you are looking to buy, good listening.
