This is a nice, compact, wind breaker for under your motorcycle or other jacket. It does not provide any thermal insulation. Can be folded up pretty small. Just a bit expensive for what it is.

I would have never paid this much for a stand alone windbreaker when there are decent options for a third the price, but I purchased the Klim Zephyr as an accessory to the excellent Klim Marrakesh motorcycle jacket, and they work very well together. They don't have matching zippers that are needed to zip in a windproof liner or anything like that, so any windbreaker in theory could work under the Marrakesh jacket, but the Zephyr is designed to be used for motorcycling, and with the Marrakesh jacket, so they work well together. For example, there isn't extra material at the collar that would bunch up or flap in the wind, as a generic windbreaker might have. Also, the Zephyr fit is identical to the Marrakesh fit so they fit perfectly together as a layering system.Despite my initial impression that I wouldn't have bought the Zephyr as a standalone wind breaker, it is probably three times as nice as the generic windbreakers at one third the price. The material is super thin and light so the Zephyr packs into a baseball sized volume when not in use and somehow isn't wrinkled when I wear it. The material is very windproof. The zipper is flawless and has a quality feel. I use the Zephyr as a windproof layer when not riding the motorcycle and it's excellent. If you want a very nice windbreaker and don't mind the price of the Zephyr, you'll know where the extra money went.

I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt as I haven’t ridden in it yet. But $100 for 10 cents of material? Hmmm. Super light and maybe it’s so high tech that it’s off the scale but seems like a lot of money for what amounts to stocked together tissue paper. Hope I’m proven wrong after wearing on some rides. I think $80 is for the Klim logo.

This shirt really works well teamed with the Klim Marrakesh jacket (or other mesh motorcycle jacket) to extend the temperature range downward. Also using a rain suit jacket and pants for when it really gets cooler and wetter. Just like in backpacking, layering makes sense and this is a nice wind shirt.

Thin water resistant jacket option but use if a base layer is key to comfort.

Fits as expected but this is a very thin wind break layer. Works as expected and like you can pack it on the sled to add or remove a layer for spring or early riding.

Already have the light grey one. So i bought the black one. So i knew what i was getting but they are very nice jackets fit as described. I’m 6 2 and 220 lbs and the large fits perfect. Great for wind breaking.
