I have a bowl lift KitchenAid stand mixer. I was uncertain what to expect when I ordered this. It fits snuggly on the bowl and does assist it reducing potential splatter and allows you to pour your ingredients in without the accidental bump into the whisk. There is only one hiccup that isn’t necessarily a flaw, but you do need to remove the guard before lowering the bowl. Not a problem, just letting others know what to expect

Fits my bowl very well. Works great but I still manage to make a mess. It snaps on easily and fits snugly. Way too expensive for plastic but it is kitchenaid.

Gave wrong review and another similar product. I thought it was this one but it was cheaper & did not fit at all as the description says it would. This true kitchen aid shield is wonderful. I ended up spending the extra money for it but it fits my 6 qt. lift handle Kitchen Aid mixer perfect.

This is a must have for your stand mixer! It keeps the flour from going up everywhere in the air. I love the chute which makes it easy to add ingredients. I also like how it snaps onto the bowl.

This fit my Kitchenaid 5 qt bowl, but this is designed to fit the tilt head style and I didn't catch that prior to ordering so I had to return it as I have the bowl lift style. I like the silicone grips and it seems well made. I ordered another just like this to fit the model of my mixer.

Sadly it does not fit our Kitchenaid model, even though it is presented that it will.I am going to try and modify it so it will work.

I have a 5.5qt KA mixer from Costco, model number is KV25MCXCU. This guard does NOT fit. The edge of the bowl is slightly flared. I wish I had read the one star reviews before ordering so I knew to skip this one!After I returned it I decided to DIY. The bowl diameter is a hair over 9.75”, and I found that the lid from my Pyrex 2.5qt glass bowl fits almost exactly. I cut out one side of the lid to fit my universal pouring attachment, then a circle around the middle for beater movement (don’t cut too much at once, you can always cut more) and it works great to keep the flour in the bowl. I was so bummed that the official attachment didn’t fit though, especially given the good reviews and how the box claimed it fits ALL in the listed sizes. Sigh.
