I purchased this scale to weigh single portions for my diet, and occasionally for ingredients for ink making. I like its sturdiness. I bought it to replace a digital scale that had become useless after being dropped a foot. This scale has been dropped several times without damage. I didn't notice that the dial is in grams only.

It does what the description says it will - nothing fancy! Weighs out ounces without fanfare, which is all I needed it to do.
