This stuff should be used undiluted. We bought to clean our organic trash bin that was smelling after a very hot summer and was attracting flies. Put in a manual pump sprayer and used in the can after trash day. Although the directions recommend a foam sprayer, we were impressed how the regular pump sprayer worked. Let is sit for about 30 minutes and then washed out with just water. The can was clean and odor free. Highly recommend.

So my husband used this product to clean our garbage can. We’ve had maggots that just don’t go away even after cleaning it with soap water and scrubbing. This was easy to use and I’d say the quality of the product is wow. It killed the maggots instantly. I’d say the product worked well and worth it.

I bought this product because my son put the remnants of crab legs in the outside garbage can during 100 degree weather. The smell baked in the can for a week until trash day. Even after rinsing out, the scent was overwhelming anytime the top was opened. Used this once as directed, leaving to set for an hour, hosed off and it was perfect. I do wish it came in a smaller size (maybe quart) as I hope to never need it again.

Due to a medical issue, I no longer can empty my grass clippings into large contractor size bags, and put those bags into my bins in order to keep my trash bins clean. I have a corner lot, so it is fairly large and produces a LOT of clippings. That left me just dumping my grass clippings into my bins. My bins have to be behind my fence or in the garage. I cannot drag a full bin across my yard, so I keep them in my garage. I missed mowing the day before garbage pickup so unfortunately I ended mowing the same day garbage was picked up, then I had to wait an extra 2 days due to the holiday. My grass clippings fermented for 9 days of HOT weather and OH MY GOD the horrific STENCH! I tried power washing it with Dawn, then a concentrated oxy cleaner, then scrubbing with more Dawn and bleach and nothing touched the stench. I started to think I would have to start paying for a garbage bin cleaning service, but they only come out to my area once every three months. 1 small application of Sharpshooter and the stench was GONE! I am so happy I found this product. I followed the directions and as stated, within an hour my bin was clean and smelled fresh.

I service pet stations. It knocks the smell out of the rubbish cans. I only mix at 15 to 1 ratio. Use a foaming sprayer.
