Your cart is empty.Machinemade in Japan of 100% manila hemp 2 natural deckles 2 cut edges. These translucent sheets are embedded with short straight fibers. One side of the sheet is very smooth and ideal for lithography monoprinting wood cut and linoleum cut printing. Perfect for lampshades. Sheets are 24x36 inches. Although called a white paper these sheets have a slight buff/eggshell color to them.

I really like the Japanese print making material & have purchased two styles from this seller. Beautiful & unique. I am glad the Fine Arts Store was listed on Amazon or I may not have discovered these unusual print making materials so quickly. I am new to print making and want to try a wide variety of textures & plan to frame final pieces for an art show. This paper is smooth on one side and very textured on the other side. Although it is sheer & can bend easily it seems to be made of sturdy fibers. I may experiment & use mistyfuse on the back of the paper to increase the durability. I will be experimenting with both acrylics & Akua liquid pigment/ intaglio inks. I would recommend this paper to intermediate & advanced artists. I would order this product again. Thank you!

If you are doing watercolor batik or any other melted wax resist art this is your paper. It's got a cool wood like fiber on the back that holds the painting together really well while your pulling the wax out with heat. This is really good paper for this!
