The item description states that the shower controls/ shower head are made of solid brass, but after 6 months of infrequent use in a guest bathroom, the brass finish has disappeared and turned to silver. Solid brass does not turn silver. I am so disappointed in this finish and would not recommend.

We recently gutted a bathroom in our 1947 cottage. We wanted the new fixtures to still have the vintage charm of the original space. This fit the bill nicely. The behind-the-wall stuff was exactly what our plumber said we needed, and the user-facing parts are lovely. Full disclosure: we did not use the included shower head, so this review is for the handle only.

Just discovered Kingston Brass and I'm impressed so far. The shower head is heavy and feels like more metal than other brands. The shower head, tap & plate all seem to be heavy duty and there is no plastic to be seen! It is a simplistic set that is better in person than in the pictures.
