This clip is not required to be screwed or otherwise attached to the television. It literally takes 10 seconds to install and adjust and removes even faster. Its not super heavy weight but definitely sturdy enough to do its' job.You can look at the front of the product packaging and see how the product works...there is a little piece that fits over the edge of your television's front edge and a back leg that adjusts down to meet the back of your television. You will want to adjust the back leg down as much as possible to fit your articular TV since the tension is the only thing holding the stand to your television. Under the front lip and the back edge of the stand is a non-skid type surface that will protect your television's surface and assist in holding it in one place. My television is wall-mounted and tilted slightly forward at a downward angle. My son and I had one Kinect session so far and it seems to be holding fast....not wobbles or slipping. It had to adjust several times as I am a grown woman and my son is only 3...A lot of up and down movement of the Kinect head. I am satisfied with this purchase, but some kind of fail safe like a dot or two of velcro would make it a five star product. If your televsion has any wobble whatsoever BEFORE installing the Kinect, I would recommend a stand that bolts on the back of your television. However, if your installation is good, this is a quick, easy-to-install, affordable option. I would buy again.

Ma kinect est trop basse sur mon meuble tv et trop haute sur mon petite meuble au mur, alors que là c'est parfait, ça tient parfaitement sur ma tv, j'ai essayé sur la mienne qui fait 3cm de largeur et sur une autre qui fait 1 cm de large puis est légérement bomber derrière sur les deux sa tien super, elle est bien droite, on ne sent pas qu'elle va tombé, c'est solide, quand le meuble bouge elle ne bouge pas d'un poil, elle a des clips comme on voit pour bien maintenir la kinect ce qui fait qu'elle ne bouge pas. Enfin j'adore quoi ;)

It's not an original Microsoft (Xbox) clip. But who cares - as long as it does the job and the price is right we have no problems with it. For some, it may look like it's an misleading description, however we knew that it may be generic clip because of the wording --> "Microsoft Licensed"There are few moans here and people are giving low score on this product based on this one only issue. Honestly we're happy - it's well made and it does the job.We got this clip from "BuyinCoinsUK" on Amazon. It was cheap and cheerful when we bought it (£3.59) and it was delivered quicker than expected from HK. So we are pleased with the item. It fits our slim LED TV and apparently fits thicker TVs as well.Some reviews mention that it has padding to protect your TV but honestly for the places it needs, I failed to notice and kind of protection. So at the front where it rests on TV we installed small bit of spongy draught excluder (the one you get in rolls in any DIY shop) to protect the front of our new TV.All in all we are pleased with the item, its simplicity and the price.

Un prodotto che si può facilmente adattare con semplicità a qualsiasi tipo di tv, molto comodo, stabile, economico, perfetto per kinect. Inoltre da precisare che kibect non è solo appoggiato, ma si incastra perfettamente grazie a delle linguette. Quindi migliore di altri prodotti, molto stabile. Semplicissimo da posizionare, semplicissimo da togliere. Si mantiene grazie ad un sistema regolabile a "ganascia" che si può adattare a qualsiasi tipo di tv, anche le più "vecchie" poiché ha un braccio allungabile. Consigliatissimo

Wir hatten bislang den Kinect-Sensor auf Höhe des Fußes des Fernsehgerätes, ein , stehen - beides auf einer Kommode in ca. 1,10 m Höhe. Beim Spielen hatten wir immer den Eindruck, dass Bewegungen teilweise nicht richtig erfasst wurden. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich entschieden, den zu bestellen und auszuprobieren.Die Halterung ist einfach zu montieren. Positiv aufgefallen ist mir dabei, dass kleine Schutzflächen (Filz?) angebracht sind, so dass der Rahmen des Fernsehers nicht zerkratzt wird. Es ist keine Gewalt nötig, um den Sensor an das Gerät zu "klemmen". Zunächst wird der Kinect-Sensor auf der Halterung angebracht und anschließend die Halterung samt Sensor auf das Fernsehgerät "aufgesetzt". Sowohl die Halterung im einzelnen wie auch die Gesamtkonstruktion Fernseher -> Halterung -> Sensor machen einen stabilen und soliden Eindruck.Auch wenn die Kommode und alle darauf stehenden Gegenstände schon ein paar Mal aufgrund spielender und an die Kommode anstoßende Kinder gewackelt haben, Sensor blieb zuverlässig an der gewünschten Stelle.Ich würde diese Halterung jederzeit wieder kaufen, daher auch uneingeschränkte Empfehlung meinerseits.

This handy mounting clip does just what it made for! It's a perfect addition so the kids can keep using the Xbox on our new plasma flat-screen!At first I thought I was going to have the same problem as other reviewers (that the Kinect would not mount securely and just set on top of the base; one review said that the pins are too short to go up inside the holes far enough) but all I had to do was put my thumb on the bottom of the clip under the pins, and then my index and middle fingers on the Kinect sensor and give a gentle squeeze and the Kinect snaps in place; duplicate on the other side and you're all set! Removal is easy, by depressing the buttons on the sides of the clip, the locking tabs release the Kinect.The clip is made of very sturdy plastic, has a high-gloss black finish to match today's TV's, and the the adjustable arm has "notched" adjustments as you open up the arm to fit to your particular TV. The notching provides friction/resistance so you get a good, solid mount.The picture shown on the Amazon listing is actually the back view. The front of the clip has about a 3/4" edge that will hang over the front of your TV but this is not a big deal as the black color gets "lost" in the frame of most TV's. For less than $7 and FREE Super Saver Shipping, you can't go wrong with this item!

For a long, long time I thought there would never be a mount that would fit my very thin 1 inch Vizio Razor LED HDTV but this mount fits it perfectly. It sort of hangs on the front of the TV and then there is an adjustable "clip" with a gripping rubber stopper that keeps the Kinect securely in place. When I saw the pictures of this mount I assumed that you must have some sort of lip in the back of your TV but mine has none at all, and works perfectly. Its really that rubber stopper that keeps the Kinect secure. Also, I would like to mention that this mount literally clips to the Kinect (theres two little holes on the stand of the Kinect).Overall, I am very pleased. It took about 2 minutes to set up, works perfectly with my thin TV (Check my picture), is very secure, and only costed about $11. Awesome!
