Itâs an ok toy for younger kids 3-5. My son (4) enjoys playing with the tools but they donât stay very well in the toolbox and everything slides all over. The idea is nice, but the design is a little flawed.

This has kept my almost 5 year old very busy all day. Sturdy pieces, cute faces. Love that sheâs able to be creative while working on fine motor skills as well as learning more about tools. 5/5 I would purchase again

My toddler got it for Christmas and he loved it. It functions like real tools. The quality is pretty good for what it is. We love that it teaches him not only the tools but how to use them. Most other tool toys only gives you the tools but not the building part of it. We would definitely purchased it for other kids as presents. Great value for the money.

Great toy for curious kids- will definitely keep them busy. The only âbutâ: the box it comes in has pretty sharp edges & makes the entire experience very loud. Our 18mo likes to shake it with all the pieces in it (like a sledgehammer into your brain at 4am) & hurt his hand twice on one of the edgesâŠother than that great for active kids to keep them entertained!

Update: Weâve had this over 9 months now and it looks about as crispy new as when we got it!! The kids still play with it very often, so Iâd say itâs very durable! I gave another star because almost all the sets out there at this price range would need more pieces to build anything significant. I found some used tinker pieces to go with this and itâs great!Original:I got this tool set for my 4 & 2 year old daughters. They love pretending to fix things. I love how this set came in a case that has areas for all the pieces. It locks shut so everything doesnât spill out everywhere. I think the faces on the tools make it really cute and help girls to know they can use tools too. I gave it 4 stars because if weâre going to build multiple objects, Iâll have to get some more âpartsâ, but it gives enough to have a good start. The set seems well made so it should last a long time. My boy nephews came over and played with it for an hour or two and it looks just the same as when I got it, so Iâm happy with that. I wanted a wood set because so many of my kids toys are plastic and who knows whatâs in all that plastic. Overall Iâd say Iâm glad I ordered this set and would do it again!

My son loves open ended toys.. The moment I saw this, I knew I had to get it for him. It's really well made, smooth edges (safe for kids to play). Also love, that it's all wooden. The box is also really well made and great to keep the tools. There are lots of different structures & things that can be made using the parts provided.What I love:>Open ended play>Wooden, well made and strudy>Cute lil faces on the Tools> Great way for young kids to learn about building things and also keep things organised (in the box) (number of pieces are just about right for them to build cool things, at the same time not too many to overwhelm young ones)What could be better:It would be great to have a mesh bag or something similar to hold the smaller pieces as they tend to move all over the box once the box is closed (m sure I can find something for that, but just saying)
