The Shotgun seat fits all modern mountain bikes – including bikes with steep, sloping or tapered top tubes.
The Shotgun seat does not fit electric bikes, road/gravel bikes, cruiser & step through frame bikes, or older mountain bikes with cables along the top of the top tube.
The Shotgun seat has a range of adjustment to fit top tubes from 30 – 68mm wide, and down tubes from 30 – 100mm wide.
The Shotgun handlebars fit 25.4mm, 31.8mm and 35mm handlebar diameters.

My daughter absolutely loves this thing, started when she was just over 2yrs old, now at 3.5yrs she is riding her own pedal bike but still wants to ride with me everyday! Totally worth the money, starting her early on my bike has helped her to learn on her own bike.

This seat is so fun for our 3 year old! My husband and I love taking out son for rides on this. We currently have it in my bike and take turns. I really want to get the pro o version so we can easily switch between bikes as it’s not very comfortable for my husband but I am too short for it to be on his bike. It definitely takes time to switch it out. I love that I can talk with him while we are biking. I can’t really hear him when he’s in the pull behind trailer. We are also starting to get into some trail riding. We will eventually get another when our infant is big enough. This seat is great and lets our kids be apart of our hobbies which is worth the money for us.

I could not recommend this product more. My daughter rides with me everywhere and LOVES every minute. This bike seat is high quality, easy to put together, and easy to take off for those solo rides we still need! The pegs with straps keep my kiddos feet stable for the moments when she goes hands free! My performance hasn’t changed too much, and still comfortable for both of us to ride! Fits well and will work with us as she grows. Well worth the money!

My little over 3 year old daughter absolutely loves it. I’m capable so installation was manageable. The handlebars didn’t clamp on because they didn’t come with inserts that were small enough, but I was able to double stack the ones that came with the kit and made it work. The instructions could definitely be improved, but if you can’t figure it out then maybe don’t put your kid on it. Other than that it’s a major hit and I’d highly recommend it!

Ich fahre damit überall, auch Waldwege, Schotterwege, Trails mit Wurzelpassagen, usw.Es ist wunderschön, den Nachwuchs da dabei zu haben und meiner Tochter macht's auch richtig viel Spaß. Sie freut sich immer riesig wenn ich sie mit dem Fahrrad abhole.Zur Montage muss man nur einmal nen Spacer im Lenker gegen die Befestigung austauschen. Ist das erledigt ist alles unter einer Minute hin- und wieder weggebaut.Negativ ist eigentlich nur dass sie einen manchmal die ganze Fahrt vollbabbeln :-DAber im Ernst: Es ist richtig viel Wert mit dem Nachwuchs mal früh im Herbst nen Waldweg zu fahren und gemeinsam Kaninchen oder Rehe zu beobachten. Kann es nur jedem Empfehlen.

I’ve had the original Kids Ride Shotgun seat and bar combo for few years now. My kids and I love it! The part I disliked was switching it to another bike. I upgraded to this new pro version to make it easier switching between bikes. It is so much better in that area. I also like the fact it has no frame contact on both my carbon framed bikes. I figured with my youngest at two now I should still get several years out of it, so it made it worth upgrading. I’ll pass the original one on to someone else that wants to enjoy biking with little ones and doesn’t mind the effort it takes to take it on and off.One of my bikes I had wrapped in vinyl to protect the frame. I noticed the last time I removed the original Shotgun seat from it the seat contacts have damaged that wrap. The frame is ok, but that wrap is damaged and will need to be replaced and that is going to cost me money. The fact this newer model has no frame contact makes it worth the higher price.Get out and ride with your kids. If your kids are like mine they will love it!

This Shotgun Seat Pro is Awesome. IF is easy to take off and put on your bike, they even send it with two headset spacer so that you can put it on a 2nd bike. I ordered a third space since I have three bikes, but it goes on and off in no time. My two daughters (4 and 3) love riding on this seat. I recommend this seat to anyone with small children. The seat also keeps your child between your arms, so you know what they are doing and you can ride with confidence.

I purchased this seat a couple of days ago, and have taken two rides with my 3 year old daughter. She absolutely loves it! It is sturdy and stable. I do hear a slight creak from time to time, but I can't tell if that's my bicycle, or the seat. I check the seat continuously and it is stable. It did take a little bit to figure out exactly how to put it on securely. The instructions could have been slightly better in my opinion (they aren't terrible by any means). Make sure you loosed the bolt at the top of the bracket that goes onto the bicycle - doing so allows you to expand the width of the bracket to fit different bicycles. Find the appropriate angle and distance from the seat post for your bike, tighten everything up, and you're off to the races! Enjoy it!

I was conflicted with this bike seat. There were cheaper alternatives available (most likely, they were copycats of the Shotgun), but I wanted to give the benefit of a doubt of this seat anyway.PROS- Excellent build quality- Pleasant, thoughtful packaging- Mounted on my Metakoo Cybertrack 100 electric bike perfectly with its wider top tube- Carried my 5.5 year old, 42 lb son well and securely- Foot rest and seat angle can be adjusted to accommodate both horizontal and down tubed bikes- Top portion can have its width adjusted to fit larger-diameter bike frames- Rubber everywhere to protect this Shotgun from scratching the bike frame- Clear instruction manual- Fun stickers to put onto the bike- "Quick release" feature to more "quickly" remove the product from the bike frame- Seat is not too wide, making it still easy for the adult to pedal- Handlebar interferes with the host bike's handlebar accessories-- Had to mount my bike light upside down, although with added padding, I could mount it to the smaller-diameter kid handlebar too-- Had to move my electric bike control panel lower so the kid handlebar is cleared enough for the child to hold on to-- Can be remediated by adding third party handle bar extenders onto which to mount the Shotgun one to- All tools were includedCONS- Very pricey compared to cheaper alternatives that look and work nearly the same- "Quick release" feature is not really a fast way to remove the product from the bike frame-- You still have to remove the foot rests before you can fully take the whole thing off, but at least this can be done without any tools.-- Makes it easier for thieves to steal this Shotgun- Kid handlebar is low and in a sudden stop, the child may fly over the barNOTEInstallation manual says to be sure to remove the kid's seat when transporting outside of the car as the air turbulence could loosen up bolts and screws and make the seat dangerous to sit onOverall, this is a really good, well-built, thought out product. It commands a high price premium and is my only complaint of it.
