My best friend's daughter is OBSESSED with all things "Kitty", lol. She's 8 and recently had a birthday. When I saw this pop up on Amazon, I knew she had to have it. It's purple and pink, her favorite colors AND she's a little daredevil (so the fact that this comes with pads is awesome).The cat ears worried me a bit at first because I wasn't sure if something sticking out like that would compromise the helmet. However, when everything came in, I was happy to see that they use a quality double sided tape to attach the ears - which means they'll tear off no problem IF the worst happens (but also, if your kiddo isn't into the ears, you don't have to use them).All in all, I am really happy with my order and I'm glad I was able to get this set now while she's still on the younger side (there's room for growth with the pads and helmet without compromising safety, if that makes sense).Good luck and happy shopping! đđ

Itâs great because itâs adjustable. Gift to my granddaughter! Her favorites were pink and cats. It was just the right combination!

I wanted to surprise my granddaughter with a helmet and pad set for Christmas to go with her new skates. Even though sheâs on the petite side for her nine years, I hoped the productâs age range would mean it fit her perfectly.When she ripped off the wrapping paper, her face lit up at the fun, colorful design of the helmetâespecially the cute cat ears that made it even more playful! The colors were so bright; she felt like a total fashionista even before hitting the ground.The knee, elbow, and wrist pads looked really well-made, but I was bummed to find out that neither the helmet nor the pads fit her snugly. The helmet keeps tilting to one side, which isnât great for a young skater. And the knee pads? They just slide down her legs, which is definitely not safe when sheâs zooming around!On a positive note, she totally loves how comfy and stylish the gear isâbig plus for that! Still, I canât help but think this set might be better for a kid with a bigger frame since it doesnât adjust well for her smaller size. Overall, itâs a gorgeous set thatâs fun and cute, but when it comes to actually working for her, it seems to miss the mark a bit.
