This is like dollar store quality. Yes, it measures shoe size but way overpriced.

It only measures length does not measure or gauge width of foot. He’s 7 and it measured at the 12 size, but I know we typically get him a size 13 because he complains about his feet. It’s easy to use and stores away in the closet. It probably measures kids even oder than 8 since it goes up to a size 5 shoe.

With two young grandson's in the home, it is hard to keep them in shoes and know what size they wear. They outgrow them so fast! A lot of shoe stores do not have clerks that measure your child's feet and with self help shoe departments it is hard to find the right size shoe. This measuring device makes it so very easy to get the right size you need. It is made of plastic, but sturdy and the letters and numbers are easy to read. Great product for homes with growing young kids.

It is very difficult to figure out where to read the size measurement on this device. If you measure to the end of the big toe, the cm measurement doesn't correlate correctly with the size. Reading the size from the almost-microscopic arrows in the middle of the view window doesn't seem to be accurate either. Maybe the whole thing is just inaccurate. I compared this device with a print-out of a measuring tool from Kohl's for comparison (see photo), and it's a good size + off. There are no instructions in the package, on the device, or on the item description. So this device is pretty useless.
