I've got a 2.5-year old and he's very much in the 'wants to help/clean/do everything you do' phase. We have a stick vacuum for use around the house and he loves to "help". We already had a broom/mop set from a previous gift so have only been using the vacuum element - he LOVED it.The vacuum is great - lightweight, simple for a toddler to operate, and while I was at first dismayed by the fact that the vacuum has noise and sings, I have to admit it's not the worst music to come from a toddler toy. It's just the "Five Little Ducks" song and vacuum sound.It was a bit of a disappointment that within two months of getting it, the vacuum mechanism broke and it no longer sucks or makes noise. (I might have been privately thrilled, but my toddler was sad) It's still a perfectly serviceable vacuum, and my kid has gotten over the lack of noise, and still plays with it but for $40+ I feel like it should last a little bit longer.I was also super doubtful that the base would actually hold up the vacuum but impressively, it does! It can be a little tricky to slide it properly into the dock, but just be patient for .2 seconds and it goes in. Definitely needs to be an adult though, my toddler doesn't quite have the dexterity to do it on his own yet. I wish the dock base was a *smidgen* heavier so it doesn't slide around as much or fall over on occasion but overall, I was shocked it actually worked.All in all, great little cleaning bundle, but I think a bit overpriced for cheap plastic.

The entire set offers a lot of fun, but there are areas for improvement in terms of durability. The vacuum requires five batteries to operate, which is excessive given its compact size. Assembling the pieces was an enjoyable experience, but the set tends to come apart easily, leading to some frustration during playtime. Overall, I think this concept has great potential but could benefit from some enhancements for better performance. On a positive note, the spray bottle functions well and adds to the overall experience.

While mom is cleaning, the youngster can join in to help out with their own set of tools. Kids love to play house. This is a nice set of tools that lends practical experience and good life habits in a toy. The tools are sturdy and made to stand-up to kids’ rough play. The only downside to this set is the 5 AA batteries needed for the vacuum to power up for suction, but this was clearly described by the seller. I feel the variety of tools is abundant and gives a full range of cleaning options for the youngster. I am pleased with this set. It comes nicely boxed for gifting which is exactly what I’m going to do later this year for a birthday gift.

The toy set has a somewhat working mini vacuum which makes the whole set very attractive for the price. We try to use it to trick the kids into cleaning the house, especially after they found an interest in trying to sweep for us.The vacuum itself has noises and light, and two modes so you can optionally run it without sound, which is a lifesaver often, but the kids seem to like the music playing.The broom and dustpan is quite functional, though not excellent quality.I would not really use the mop, despite being given accessories to actually mop, the mop head material feels more like felt or wool and probably would never be clean again once it's gotten wet and dirty.The spray bottle really works as you'd expect, but it becomes a water gun every time.Overall, it's a fun set and gets a lot of entertainment out for the cost. I would recommend it if your kids are also showing an interest in your brooms and vacuums.
