This falls much closer to a toy bow than any semblance of a beginner "real" bow. My kids have been having fun with it but as part of their dress-up accessories. As a component of narrative play, this thing rocks. Otherwise, give it a miss.

I ordered this for my grandsons to shoot around in the backyard. They did have fun playing with it, but I do wish the arrows had fletching to make them fly more accurately. Between this and the flexible rubber tips, the arrows are pretty useless for shooting at the included targets. The bow itself is pretty nice, and the bag and quiver are a decent bonus. It's not bad for the price, but if you really want your kids to be able to shoot at any targets, it will require going out to get some better arrows.

This product is of nice quality but the only 3 arrows have fletching rendering the remaining ones useless. So basically this product has a short life span.

This is a great toy for a child looking to learn archery, and my son loves it! It has a circa 25 foot range and only 3 of the arrows have fletching. The wooden arrow notches are a bit tight and tug on the string when released, so I sanded them a bit and then they were fine. The rubber tips are flexible and help you avoid any injury. I would describe this as a really nice TOY bow more than as a "beginner" bow. It would also be a fantastic costume prop! The bow itself is beautifly made, and the arrows would look just as great with some added fletching.The target was a bit of a challenge. You pretty much need to mount it with no backing (or on something soft) or the rubber arrows won't be able to puncture, and even then I would say 10-15 feet max for any penetration.If your goal is to let a child use their imagination and safely shoot arrows (or to find a nice costume prop), this is a slam dunk and highly recommended!

I bought 2 sets of bow and arrows for my boys. They love exploring outside and practicing their archery. I love that the tips of the arrows are soft and flexible.

This children’s wooden archery set comes with all you need, bow, arrows, pouch, and targets. It’s sturdy made and the wood is nice and smooth (no splinters). Lightweight and easy to handle. Sized kid friendly. My daughter really enjoys playing with this bow and arrows set and is honing her skills getting better and better at target practice. The arrows are rubber tipped and bounce back softly which is a must for safety. Great for game room fun or outdoor activities. Even I enjoy having a go with this set.

The product arrived broken inside the box. As there was absolutely zero damage to the box itself I can only assume that it was broken when it was packaged… unbelievable that something obviously broken would get shipped. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift, but I’m not confident that the replacement item will make it in time.Update: ABSOLUTELY PISSED- the replacement bow arrived… broke as well! WHT?!?! Don’t waste your time. I’m sending this one back as well… this time I’m getting a refund. This is so ridiculous. I wish that I could give this zero stars.
