I got this standing bookshelf unit as a replacement for an older one. The unit is very sturdy, and the wood doesn't chip easily. I got it sanded and painted to match the kids' room theme. I liked that the outer edge of the shelves is high enough o keep the books from falling off.

Very cute, it holds a lot of books and is very sturdy. A little pricey but it will last forever so I would say it’s worth it

This is a nice shelf when assembled. The build was pretty simple and had no issues. The only thing about this shelf is that it is very upright, so the books have to be angled in order for them to stay up. But in doing that, since the shelf space is pretty shallow, you won't be able to fit too many books in one spot. If they angled the back support a little, that would have been nice.

Not easy to assemble. Holes not easy to line up. It does Look like the product photo once assembled …but it’s not made of “real” wood (just pressed fake wood). We kept it bc too much trouble to return and bc it looks fine. The wood piece that split or “cracked” during assembly is hidden. Not a family heirloom haha

It looks cute but that's about it. First off, the assembly was too difficult. You can't really see the predrilled holes on the inner pieces and the little shelf groove is too shallow. I specifically looked at a scalloped design to minimize edges on which my kid could get hurt but this is such poor quality of wood that it is splintered in multiple spots such that you get scratched everytime you try to pick up a book.

Easy assembly and solid piece for the grandkids bedroom. Good price and definitely cheaper than another brand that looks exactly the same! The scalloped wood is very pretty. The kids immediately started loading it with books! Good buy!

This is a really nicely made sturdy book case. It’s completely made of wood so it’s sturdy and can hold quite a few books. It’s a nice height for the kids to reach what they need and they can easily see which book they want to read. Be aware though if you have littles they can easily get into the shelf as well so I have to put it up when my 2 year old granddaughter is over so the older kids books don’t get wrecked. I have cardboard books for the smaller one.The shelf come unassembled in box so you need to put it together. It didn’t take too long around 30 minutes to put together. The instructions are great and easy to follow even without instructions you could easily figure it out just looking at the picture.The shelf has 3 tiered shelved with scalloped edges to me this is awesome as the edges aren’t pointy and rounded for a more safe shelf for the kids. The edges and finish are very nice. It’s plain wood so not fussy. I put some vinyl decals on the front saying reading corner to jazz it up a bit but that’s not needed of course. It’s free standing and fairly low to the ground and also fits a lot of books. I try to separate the books by ages do I have the bottom shelf with the cardboard books, the second with books suitable for my 5 year old grand daughter, and the top for the oldest 7 year old grandsons books do it works great for that. They know where to put their books to keep it organized so I’m really happy.The shelf is very sturdy no wiggles or wobbles and is very awesome. I’m so happy I got this it’s high quality and the rounded corners are perfect. The person who made this was really thinking of the safety of little kids.

After setting up this bookshelf and getting it gradually loaded up with books for our tiny human, I only have good things to say about it.Getting it unboxed and built was super easy thanks to the instructions, which are well-presented and simple to follow. I also discovered that there's an instructional video, but only after I had finished building it.The bookshelf is very solid and has a nice weight to it thanks to the fact that it's actual plywood! Feels like a legitimately quality product and I was blown away once built. It's got rounded edges throughout which makes it very safe for kids and babies that might be exploring it. It also has a set of openings on the top to act as handles for easy moving.The shelves are about 28/29 inches wide and approximately 2.5 inches deep, which allows for lots of space for adding books in front of each other if you have a series of a theme organizational system. There is also an anchor system to further add to the safety of this - simply drill 2 holes, add plastic plugs, and affix the bracket that's included with the zip tie.Overall, this is a lovely and quality bookshelf that all parents should own! It's such a cute and classy addition and I absolutely love how it completes the room.
