This shelf is cute and was pretty easy to assemble. It seems sturdy enough for little kid's toys, but overall, I think I would prefer one of the cube storage organizers with the bins. This is more for an "aesthetic vibe", rather than actually storing a decent amount of toys and books, etc. I think our son is going to outgrow this very quickly, and overall, I think the money could be spent on something that will last a little longer.

Didn’t know what to expect but it’s ended up being PERFECT! Not hard to put together, came with all the parts. Perfect height for my 20 month old grandson. We will use this for years! The side pockets are a bonus for holding small items. Center holds many books, ends of shelf hold toys. Highly recommend!

I wanted to take my time with reviewing because i wanted to give it some time in the kids room to make sure it would last and functional.I can say yes to both. It was a bit of a pain assembling it but its mostly due to having two small toddlers wanting to be in the way. I must say once it was assembled it looks great it holds plenty of books and this adds plenty of storage for their teddys and toys. One of the best features is that it is at their level and they can take things out with ease. Great price and so far very sturdy. Perfect for their room this saves my living room from their little mess.

PROS: The instructions were very clear and the set up was very straightforward. The bookshelf itself is very sturdy once you put it together and it also comes with straps to anchor it to the wall for even further safety. It is not very tall which could be a good thing for parents worried about their little ones reaching to get something that’s to offer them.CONS: The tiers for the fabric portion that holds the books feels a little too large and not as practical. Many childrens’ books are board books and so may not hold as much if you have those. If you’re planning on using the shelf space for toys and other items you may have less of that in order to make space for thicker books. Also, smaller books may fall out of the side so be cautious.Overall it’s a fantastic simple bookshelf that’s affordable.

This bookshelf fits the bill perfectly! It is just the right size for our 15 month old grandson. It holds his books and toys beautifully and it allows him to pick out his choices independently.The directions for assembly were clear and the video was straightforward. Would definitely recommend!
