The shelf material is good, but the dimensions/ screw holes were horribly off. It should have been an easy assembly, but the directions are not the most helpful & the tools provided did not get the job done. Using a drill made it a little easier, except some of the shelves were off in size, screws were stripped, and lots of labor ended up being put into what seemed like a simple shelf. :(The design is cute, but I had quite a few times during assembly where I contemplated if the labor was worth it/ considered a returning for a refund. If you buy because of the price point (like I did), consider potential eye sores/ inconvenience due to dimensions being off.

This kids' bookshelf is a great addition to any playroom or nursery. The four-tier design makes it easy for children to see and reach their books, encouraging independent reading. I was really impressed with the quality, size, and parts of this bookshelf! My niece and the whole family loved it in the nursery. I needed something with a couple of separate bins for my son’s blocks and big Legos, plus a few shelves for his other toys. His room was always a mess with toys everywhere, and even with baskets, it still didn’t look tidy. This bookshelf solved that perfectly! The instructions were super easy to follow, and it's surprisingly sturdy. I put it together by myself, and it wasn’t hard at all. The trickiest part was fitting the poles while attaching the last side, but it was definitely manageable. I did mess up a bit at the beginning and ended up putting the top shelf the wrong way, so the hardware is visible, but I didn’t realize until I was done. For the price, the quality is fantastic and totally worth every penny. It holds books, stuffed animals, and photos perfectly! It turned out even better than I expected!

I tried to give this product a chance. The wood looked nice out of the box but there was an immediate sense doubting whether the quality was there. After unboxing the materials and prepping to assemble I found 2 allen wrenches of the same size which was curious as the screws are all of the same size as will. It turns out I could not fully tighten the screws before they became stripped. At first I thought it was the allen wrench that was losing its edges but it was actually both the allen wrench and screws that were deteriorating. The material used to make these bits were obviously cheap and I then understood the reason for including 2 allen wrenches.Well, I was ready to return the product but I figured I was being too hasty. I imagined I could buy a set of extractor drills for the unremovable screws and new screws that wouldn't waste away in the assembly. I was wrong. After spending money to save the purchase I began again. All steps were incredibly difficult to asseble and took an amazin balancing act to keep the wood steady. There were no peg supports build in to at least give you a fighting chance. Not too much long after, I found out that the woood inserts were mis-sized. They were slightly larger than the borders of the bookcase that were suppose to contain. Those inserts kept popping out before you could hold everything steady to continue drilling. Upon success I became aware of the slightly mis-sized panel insert and knew at that point there was no option but to return. I slowly drilled the pieced closer thinking I may be wrong and somehow they would snap together. Well, snap it did. The wood lip did not find any nudge room between the bookshelf walls that the screw was trying to join and slightly cracked.Yeah, long story short, just trying to save anyone thinking of buying this some time and frustration. Spend a few extra bucks or find a different model. The gamble onthis one is not worth it.
