First of all this is a very lightweight and cheap frame. The elastic bands are way inside the frame so while they do store artwork, there is literally nothing to hold the art you want displayed up against the window so it falls back ward into the storage area. Definitely would choose a different design next time.

LOVE this frame. I wish I'd had it when my own son was small BUT it works great for the grands. I particularly like that it holds letter-sized paper as that tends to be the size they draw on. I love that we can switch it out and then save it behind the "featured" piece. It's perfect and the grands love feeling like their work is on display (because it is!).

This is a terrific piece to frame my child's artwork as the opening is truly 8.5" x 11" which allows pictures to be fully seen without being bent. Too many competing products are not compatible with U.S. letter-sized paper.The outside edge measurements are about 10 x 12.5 which is a negligible amount of extra wall-space well worth it so that the child's artwork can be seen in its fully splendor. The sole way to make this frame better would be to swap the metal stubs with swivel clasps as they're far more ideal to open/close when inserting or removing a picture.The two bands work well so that I can store dozens of pages on the opposite side of the frame and keep them safe. Magnet closure is also a positive feature.Great value for the price.Recommend!I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases. Since I rely on reviews, too, I appreciate how helpful they can be in my purchasing decisions. Hope my review has helped you.

This framed picture displayer would make the best gift ever for parents or grandparents!! I love that you can store so many pictures or drawings in this frame. If you have a child who loves to draw pictures all the time like mine does, you will love this frame because you can just keep adding their newest picture without the hassle traditional frames have. You don't even have to take the frame off of the wall to change out the picture - it opens up easily, just like a door! You just pop in the newest photo towards the plexiglass side, and the older pictures can be held in the other half of the frame for safe keeping. The frame is held shut with a magnet, but easy to open when you need to switch out the picture. The kids can easily add their own artwork too - this is a very kid-friendly frame! I also love that even though it's not real glass it looks like real glass - which is AWESOME because real glass can shatter so easily. I love how little hands-friendly this frame is, and I love that it makes proudly displaying your child's artwork so easy and hassle free!

What an interesting little frame! Our son has recently been interested in water color paintings and wanting to display them wherever possible. We found this frame and immediately got it to help encourage just that. It's a very nice looking little box with a wooden frame. The front door is closed with a magnet and easily opens, where you can put the paper for display like any normal picture frame. What sets this one apart, however, is that it is more than just a display frame. Inside the box are two elastic bands that will hold and store the other artwork, helping consolidate the mountains of watercolor pages that would otherwise be strewn across our house! Also, there are a variety of ways to hang this box safely on the wall, and it comes with some hardware. The design is nice, it's easy to use, and it is high on function. Whether you have creative children or are an artist yourself, this is a great way to display all finished products. Highly recommend.

One of my kids really loves to make my mom artwork and always wants it on display. We decided to gift this to her so she doesn't have to display all the art pieces at once and can store the old pieces when he makes her something new. This is good quality and should store many pieces of art. I docked a star because there is no board holding the art into place. I ordered this one because the matte fits an 8x10 piece of paper, but I had to take the paper to the matte in order to keep it from moving around. With most photos frames there is a piece of cardboard or thin wood that holds the photo/artwork into place but not with this frame - you put the artwork into the frame and close it up. Even with a larger paper that fits beyond the matte, I don't know how it would be secured into place. I have wrapped the gift so I cannot check at this point. But know that if you have no art work being displayed you see right through the glass into the back area that is storing old artwork instead of a brown or black backer like typical frames. That being said, I may find a way to create one as I don't love that we will constantly have to be taping the art to the matte!
