It was fairly easy to put together and my toddler loves it. It’s very cute design. We both love the built in bookshelf. One headlight fell off during shipment but i glued it back on easily. The labeled tray of materials to build it was very helpful and neat. The only thing is i didn’t realize the colors of the screws mattered to match the paint.

My son loves his firetruck bed! This bed was his transition from his crib , to his big boy bed, (and our bed plenty of nights lol) and he sleeps in his new bed like such a big boy. It's very sturdy and dad said it was very easy to put together. It has a little cubby in the front for storage or toys. The graphics are fabulous. Easy for my son to get in and out on his own, small tails to help him not roll out of bed. I hope this helps . Definitely worth the purchase and I would buy it again!

Beautiful bed. Box has a sqarish hole during delivery. Inside the package containing the essential nuts and screws was cut and items inside were scattered within. One our of 10 Screw & Nut A was missing. Could have fallen out the hold in the box

My grandson loves his firetruck bed! It was easy enough to put together (my son says) and it looks great in his room! It is also much sturdier than I was expecting, so that’s a plus. If you’re thinking about buying it, I’d do it. Just do it. Be the cool grandma. Like me.

Pros:1. Value, very affordable especially considering comparable beds go for 3x-4x as much2. Design, our little one was ecstatic when he saw his little firetruck3. Ease of assembly, the instructions were detailed and all the pieces each had corresponding stickers making them very easy to identify. All of the hardware was labeled as well.Cons:1. The chemical smell from this bed is VERY strong and nauseating. It’s been 3 days since we put it together and the paint like fumes are so overwhelming that we haven’t let our son sleep in the bed. We actually purchased 2 baking soda boxes and brought in 2 air purifiers in an attempt to get rid of the smell. Not super comfortable or convenient to keep the windows wide open in 40 degree weather. Really hope that the smell goes away after tomorrow.2. Poor quality frame materials that are very weak. The bottom slates are made of wood, the frame appears to be a low quality partial board that was so weak that 2 of the pieces split as I put screws in.The Item description claims “sturdy construction” which is fair if you consider being stout and low to the ground sturdy. No way that the materials are sturdy, very fragile actually. We really want this bed to be great, we’ll wait a couple more days to see if the smell goes away otherwise will have to return it.

We needed a temporary toddler bed for my son and weren’t looking for anything crazy expensive. To find a bed at this price point is great, but don’t expect high quality. One of the panels came damaged (the exterior paint finish was actually scratched on one of the fire engine windows). In addition, the dowels are very poorly fitting, which would probably explain a lot of other reviewers’ comments about the bed feeling insecure and unstable. Some dowels hardly fit in due to excess dried paint in the corresponding holes, or are too short and small making them altogether useless. All my son wants to do is jump on the bed since we put it together (it does look like a toy afterall so who can blame him), but I can’t let him do that out of the fear of it breaking. If you’re wanting something for a few years, or something that is high quality, this product may not be what you’re looking for.Overall, this is what I expected at this price point. It will do its job for the time we need it, and I won’t feel too guilty when we need to replace it with a bigger kid bed. Not to mention it’s very cute and would make any little kid who likes fire trucks pretty happy I’m sure.

Bought this bed for my 2 year old son when it was time to move from the crib. Putting it together wasn't difficult (less than 45 minutes) and that's WITH my son circling me the entire time and touching everything. :) It's well-made and sturdy (my son is 30lbs and likes to jump on the bed often!). It fits the standard size crib mattress and has a tiny cubbie behind the windshield (where I keep his most prized stuffed animals for easy reach throughout the night). It's low to the floor and with the "ladder rails" my son dosn't fall out of bed. But even if he did, it's so low to the ground that he wouldn't get hurt. I paired it with the Carter's Fire Truck bed set and he simply LOVES it! I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who has a Fire Truck loving child!!!

Good price, decent bed, quick delivery; not regretting this purchase (neither is my insanely thrilled toddler)...Had it a week and it's holding up to my 35lb 3 ry old jumping on it and my 130lb self laying on it with him.Read the reviews before I bought it and was trepidatious to purchase it but decided to any way. As I opened the box and removed each piece I was pleasantly surprised. Not terrible quality for the price. Took me (I'm the resident handy man around these parts) about an hour to put the bed together. The instructions took some figuring out as I had to perform a few processes of elimination and use my ability to deduce what they really meant, but I'm well versed in assembling so it wasn't too bad. We hyped our kid up about the bed and he was so insanely ecstatic when he finally laid eyes on it that his reaction to it and how cute it is already makes it worth the purchase. If the bed breaks or cracks or anything of the sort I will definitely update this review as I know how honest and truthful reviews are extremely helpful.

Not hard to put together, its definitely easier with two people to help hold the boards up. Warning the very first step the screw broke out of the board because the board is so thin, after getting more pieces together the board stayed put and it didn't affect the overall bed. It fits a crib mattresses. It's not something you want to take apart and put back together. It seems solid once you get it together. Great bed and I would buy it again, our 2 yo loves it.
