Works great and I no longer have to worry about my wee man getting hurt. They are easy to use and easy to adjust. You may need to go to the hardware store to get the correct bolts for your TV but those are cheap and easy to find.

It looked like it was sturdy and would work good. That did not happen because they sent an open package and only 3 screws in it. I was very disappointed so I sent it back. UGH!

I decided to buy this after one of my foster kittens knocked over my TV and broke it.Strap is very sturdy, the instructions are straightforward, installation was relatively easy (even considering the fact that I’m not great with tools). This product is a must for anyone with children or pets.

I am very happy with this! It was very easy to install ( screws into the tv holes that are already there then I just had to drill into the tv stand to secure the bottom ) Now when we talk by the tv it doesn't wobble and I don't have to worry about the baby knocking it over!

Easy to install. Pretty simple straps. I don't think the plastic buckles will hold if you were to really pull on the TV, but it should stop a small kid from accidentally tipping over the TV.

These Anti-Tip TV straps were easy to install and took hardly any time at all. Our daughter is not standing up and pulling on items quite yet so I can't fully speak to their effectiveness against small children. I however did attempt to pull at the TV after install and these held up to my strength surprisingly well. They are also very low profile and after install I can't even tell if they are on the back of the television, which is a huge bonus.Time will tell if these were worth the cost, but I feel confident to state that I think they are and if purchased will not let you down with you child-proofing.

We invested in a slightly larger 42" inch flatscreen with 3D capability. We find the 3D effects are better when we have it more at eye level than when we wall mounted it, so we have it on a free standing table rather than a specific stand. We also have a toddler who climbs, so all of our bookcases and such are anchored. With the multitude of cords and other paraphernalia associated with the various devices, we could not anchor the table in the same way, so we researched safety items like these. This was perfect for our needs, installed easily, and does exactly what we want it to. Since the table was neither expensive not in perfect shape, I'm not concerned with adding screw holes or other marks, but if you have a high end piece of furniture, be aware that this requires the appropriate installation in order to be fully safe.We still do what we can to limit our daughter from climbing on the tables and bookcases, but hopefully we never have to really test its capabilities!

We bought the Kidco Anti-Tip TV Straps as an easy way to ensure our 55" flat screen television didn't accidentally get tipped over from our toddler. She started to walk and go over the tv so to keep her safe we decided to purchase this.I was really surprised how easy the installation was, and it really keeps the tv in place. I tried to pull the tv after and it feels very secure. The straps come with two sets of screws and anchors for the walls and two sets of bolts for the back of the tv. Which is perfect for pretty much most tvs. I only mention that because Some reviews mentions screws being too short or two long. I didn't have any issue with them.Pro: they're great and is good piece of mind.Con: well the only thing I can think of is you better be 100% sure that you know where you want to have the tv in the room. Because if you are someone whom like to rearrange the living room often well prepare to have a bunch of holes on the wall. LolUpdate: Almost a year later the straps hold very well, we haven't had any accident which is great. They still feel pretty solid.

I used these straps to secure a 55 inch Samsung TV sitting in a built in wall unit. The package contains 2 straps and the necessary mounting hardware. I used my own machine screws to secure the strap to the built in unit. Installation took about 20 minutes, since it is 2 nuts and 2 screws needed for completion. Most of the time was making sure my TV was centered before I committed to drilling holes in the wall. The product itself is a pair heavy weight nylon straps with thick plastic fasteners at the ends. They are more than beefy enough to secure a 55 inch TV. Once installed, my TV sat solidly in place with no chance of titling forward. We retired the straps once we mounted our TV on an articulating bracket on the back wall of our built in unit. This moved are TV slightly higher and farther from my daughter's reach.I would highly recommend these straps if you cannot mount your TV directly to the wall.

We have a 50' Samsung TV that we just purchased and we feel much better with the anti-tip straps connected to the top of the back and the back edge of the TV stand. You want the straps to go straight down to the back edge of the stand, not at an angle to the right or left. When you are sitting in front of the TV, you don't notice the straps as they are pure black. The straps when tightened have no flexibility, so they create a very secure environment. Incidentally, I don't recommend connecting them to the wall for two reasons, 1) if the TV stand gets bumped, it can cause the straps to be pulled, and 2) if you want to gently move the stand to clean OR work on the wiring in the back, the straps would need to be disconnected from their wall anchors, leaving you without their intended support. And this system is good to have when there are youngsters and oldsters around.

The Kidco Anti-Tip TV strap works like a charm on my 42" LG plasma television. There are screws for many different sets and the ones that fit my LG gave me no issues. Installation was a breeze, taking roughly 20 minutes to install both using the method where you basically anchor it into your furniture (as opposed to the studs on a wall). After installation (and tightening the straps adequately), I put it through its paces and I'm confident that this TV is going nowhere. While it's true that the ends are open-ended (as many have noted), it's hard enough to get the straps off of them when they're hanging loose. When it's properly tightened, it's near-impossible (in other words, it's not happening with the situations that this is made to protect against). I have a two and a half year-old and two one years-olds who are now pulling up on everything, so this gives my wife and I a lot of peace of mind.

We just bought a bigger TV and I was worried about our baby and his walker and the chance he may bump the cabinet causing the TV to fall. The straps are heave duty, and the kit came with the mounting screws necessary to secure the straps on one end, and the other had anchors with some crazy-strong adhesive. Very very easy to install, only took a few minutes. I did not have to find a stud in the wall or buy crazy anhor bolts and do a ton of drilling. The was virtually tool-less other than the screwdriver for the bolts. Great product.
