Finish: Brushed Nickel All Kichler ceiling fans come standard with a universal hanging system. This basic system allows for mounting on ceilings with up to a 20 Degree slope. For ceilings in excess of 20 Degree slope, utilize this 60 Degree Slope Adapter. Adapts to ceilings from 0 Degree to 60 Degree of slope. Accepts CoolTouch Receiver Unit for remote controlled fans. Includes 'Stabilized' mounting system. Safety features prevent fan from 'lifting' off mounting system. Heavy duty design features two safety pins and one set screw for maximum safety. Designed for indoor or outdoor use. Outdoor finishes powder coated with galvanized under coating. Note: Designed for use with threaded 1' diameter downrods ONLY. Downrods must also be Drilled for a safety pin.

This ends up being quite an expensive accessory, because in order to use it, you can't use a normal extender pole, you must have a double threaded extender pole. The adaptor SHOULD come with it...it is already pricey as it is!

Purchased to use with a Matthew’s Fan Company Dagnys model where the roof pitch was too steep for the included fitting.This mount was far more sturdy, easy to install, great color match (brushed nickel) and looks great. Highly recommended.

I have a lot of high sloped ceilings in my house and always seem to need one of these at the last minute when replacing a fan. There are not many to choose from either. But I found this one on Amazon and it worked perfectly. The installation was easy and it has been holding up my new fan for over a month now.

This item is a serious rip off! The $50+ price is outrageous compared to an adapter at your local Lowes or Home Depot (which was $9 and some change). The brushed nickel finish is not true to color and it is so cheaply made that just holding it, the finish was scratching off. Not only that, no where on the listing does it indicate that you have to have a dual-threaded downroad in order to actually use since the adapter for some reason has threads in it when the ceiling fan part does too - it makes it so it is not useable at all. I'd check your local hardware store rather than buying this knock off, overly priced piece of crap.
