Hard to find cable if you have to work on an old computer with the DIN5 keyboard connector. It works great.

I've heard that it depends more on the keyboard whether this will work or not, but it works between the only PS/2 keyboard I have left and the only system I still have that uses the 5-pin din connector. I'm happy!

Bought two of these cables to connect an old keyboard I have used forever to my new computer, and to have one as a spare. The keyboard has the old large male DIN5 connector on it and the new computer needed a PS-2. Well, I got these cables and turns out the sex on the ends is reversed. The large end is a male connector and the PS-2 end is female. I needed a cable the other way around. Not sure why anyone would use this cable since computers use either PS-2 female connectors or USB for keyboard. So, be careful ordering this item. Also, returns are not allowed, so I am stuck with two cables that are basically useless to me.

Perfect... i used this to get a new PS-2 keyboard connected to my old Packard-Bell 386-20 so I could show my kids and their friends just how FAR that computers have advanced.
