Kershaw Taskmaster Knives

High-Performance Steel
A budget friendly, reliable, top-of-the-line Chinese produced steel, 8Cr13MoV steel has carbon and slightly less nickel for hardness and edge retention. Kershaw’s precision heat treated 8Cr13MoV steel strongly takes and holds an edge and offers wear resistance that can withstand damage from both abrasive and adhesive wear. 8Cr13MoV is a value blade steel featuring high performing characteristics.
Attractive Blade Coating
Kershaw’s Blackwash finish derives from a balanced blend of blade coating and stonewashing. Together the two produce a precisely formulated all-black matte finish impervious to fingerprints, smudges and marring. And, even though the knife itself is brand new, Blackwash projects a well-worn, vintage look popular for blending comfortably with clothes and gear during everyday use and carry.
Fast Deployment
The classic way to open a knife, manual action knives use a thumb hole, thumb stud or built-in flipper to safely deploy the blade. Holding the knife level at 90o angle, quickly and smoothly flick the wrist to maneuver the blade out of the handle. Place fingers along handle scales and apply pressure inward on the blade with the thumb. Manual systems do not employ mechanical assist to open a knife.
Secure Locking System
With two steel plates, or liners, on the inside of each handle scale, the liner locking system safely secures the blade open and prevents unwanted blade closure. The lockbar butts up against the blade’s backend to prevent closure, and angles or is bent towards the blade tang creating a bias locked position. Apply manual force to move the lockbar to the side and fold the blade back into the handle.
Additional Features
Manual Flipper
Flippers on manual-open knives require user to push with quick strength until blade deploys. Some manual flippers disappear when blade deploys, others become a finger guard. Manual flippers appeal to inexperienced users as well as experienced users who prefer a classic, old-style opening. In both cases, ambidextrous flipper works as index finger applies pressure while closed knife sits in palm.
Durable Handle
Very tough, able to take heavy-duty hard use, and versatile, glass-filled nylon handle material is a nylon synthetic polymer reinforced with glass threads for increased strength. Glass-filled nylon has incredible stiffness for a secure and stable grip, great ability to withstand heat, and dimensional stability combined with excellent wear resistance.
Convenient Pocketclip
Kershaw designs pocketclips to fit specific knives according to their weight, intended end use, size, style and hardware. Some knives have multiple carry options, others are more streamlined. A pocketclip with tip-down carry is positioned so the closed knife carries in the pocket with the tip of its blade pointed down. A reversible tip-up or tip-down pocketclip allows user to change tip position.

Solid construction. Easy to open and close safely, and it doesn't open when I don't want it to. Comfortable for my medium-sized hands. The blade has little to no wiggle, and is quite sharp out of the box. I was able to get it sharper fairly easily as well. The American tanto blade shape adds an unexpected amount of utility that you don't get from the usual curved edge blades.The blade-lock is fairly solid, but I would not trust it under extreme force for puncturing of upward force because of how easily it can be unlocked with one finger (read: I would NOT recommend this knife for any self defense purposes). My only major complaint would be the pocket clip bends rather easily, rendering it somewhat useless unless you are able to bend it back into shape. For the price, it is a very good utility blade. I also like the added utility of the metal loop on the end of the handle: it can be used for a variety of purposes such as a small pry-bar, flat-head screwdriver, or bottle opener.

Kershaw is known for well made, durable knives. While this is made in China, it's to Kershaw's design and standards. Contrary to popular belief, China can make very good products if they are given specifications. It's an inexpensive, every day carry. Extremely durable with a good fit and finish. The blade is sharp and strong. There are no weak points in the construction and the handle is comfortable. The dimensions are small enough to be legal in most places, but large enough to be practical. Well made and would buy again.

Esta nabaja es de buena calidad pero vale mui cala para lo que es los materiales no son gran cosas la cachas son de plástico y el seguro de la oja no se ve mui resistente para el precio que tiene te puedes comprar mejores nabajas que esta yo creo que está nabaja debería de costar entro 20 y 30 euros ese sería su precio correcto ya que lo materiales no son mui buenos

La lame coupe et s’affûte bien. L'outil à l'autre bout m'est devenu indispensable comme gros tournevis, levier, etc. Complète à merveille un tout petit Victorinox "Manager" qui fait... tout le reste ! La forme inhabituelle de la lame m'avait fait hésiter mais elle s'avère très pratique à utiliser. Petit bémol : le clip est au mauvais bout du couteau (on peut le changer de côté mais pas de bout). Sans cela, il est parfait et ne me quitte plus.

Kleines aber feines Messer zu einem guten Preis. Der Stahl ist zwar keine Besonderheit, jedoch nicht zu verachten. Die Klinge wird relativ scharf geliefert. Der Flaschenöffner ist leider weniger gut ausgeführt, der Schlitzschraubenzieher eher mehr ein Geck.Das Messer selbst sieht trotz seiner Größe sehr stabil und aggressiv aus. Durch die Fingermulde an der Klinge lässt sich dieses kleine Teil erstaunlich stabil halten. Dass das Messer nicht für viel mehr als den alltäglichen Gebrauch und als kleiner Helfer dient, sollte jedem Klar sein.

Grandiose Klinge und billigste Griffschalen.Es waren nach dem Auspacken nur wenige Sekunden bis die Entscheidung es zurück zu schicken klar war.Die Klinge und der Klapp Mechanismus sind wirklich sehr gelungen und machen einen super Eindruck.Die Griff Schalen allerdings sind einfach nur billig, bestenfalls Kirmes Qualität!Obwohl das Messer gut in der Hand liegt leidet die Haptik doch sehr darunter.Da das Messer in einer bereits geöffneten original Verpackung kam war mein Vorgänger anscheinend ähnlicher Meinung.Leider durfte ich dazu noch die Rücksende Kosten tragen.

When one first looks at this knife there is a bit of cognative dissonance: The weight of the knife is substantial, the look is streamlined, and the blade is no nonsense, none of that serrated blade work that imo, often makes a blade look cheap and stamped out, especially with a combat designed blade. But then we have what appears to be a screwdriver and...in the name of bilateral symetry perhaps? a bottle opener on both sides of the knife. I couldn't initially decide how this jibed, but no foul no harm....you have two bottle openers! The screw driver is actually a nice sturdy design, it appears that one could break glass with it, and it functions well as a striking surface if one needs to use the weapon in a combat scenerio. This knife could be grasped as a knuckle duster and this protruding surface becomes a way to transmit less than lethal force.The spine and locking mechanism is solid. Not a fan of this locking mechanism so much...but the mechanism is as solid as one can get, assuming one piece of metal will hold a blade in place, and that one will know under duress to make sure the blade comes out fully to the out position, otherwise crippling the hand... More mundane problems with this system are, when the mechanism is jarred, it can get stuck. But all materials on the knife are solid! Even the pin is held well into place on this knife, very good materials for a knife in the 20 and under range...now onto the steak! Does it sizzle?I have a fondness for the tanto blade design...It has an extra cutting surface that once understood is an excellent combat design. The blade is beautifully proportioned, one has a generous amount of blade for the size and a nice extra surface area that is not just for show. Little touches like a blood groove show excellent design and attention to detail. There is even an extra notch on the blade to secure a grip...a nice touch.Excellent knife for the price. I wish they would put a superior locking mechanism on such a nice knife and charge me twice as much frankly.
