My parents were in town when this arrived and I unboxed it. My mom was so interested in it when she was here I let her take it and Iâm ordering a replacement one for myself. Itâs a great âmedium-ishâ size pan for frying food in oil, like shrimp, chicken, poppers, onion rings and more. The flap that you set the finished food on to drain the oil is genius and eliminates having to use excessive paper towels. The temperature gage inserts easily and is easy to ready. The only think you need to note is that the temperature readings are in Celsius and not Fahrenheit like Iâm used to. Luckily the instructions include the oil temperatures in Celsius for cooking each category of food. The pan in nice and deep and the ring on top helps to keep any popping oil from jumping out towards your while cooking so it reduces the chance of burns and overall fire safety. Iâm impressed with the quality of the materials and think this will be able to handle many years of use.

I decided to buy this Japanese-style fryer to surprise my wife on Valentine's Day. I knew she loves Japanese food, especially tempura, and I thought it would be a great way to make her a special dinner at home. Honestly, I didnât make a mistake. This fryer turned out to be a great choice.The quality of the stainless steel is impressive; it looks sturdy and well made. What Iâve liked the most is the temperature control, which has allowed me to adjust the heat for making tempura and other fried dishes at the perfect temperature. I havenât had to worry about the food becoming too greasy, as the oil drip draining feature works really well.The size is ideal, not too big or too small and itâs just right for making portions for two or more people. Plus, itâs easy to clean, which is always a plus when cooking with oil. The whole process was simple, and best of all, my wife loved the meal. It was definitely a successful surprise!If you're looking for a fryer thatâs practical, durable, and helps you make fried dishes with great results, this is definitely a great option.

It functions well with everything evenly cooked. My only problem was the lid as it did not serve itâs purpose. It would fall in the oil and forget about using the rack. It was also difficult to get the rack bar in as well. 3 out of 5

This works a treat for any small deep frying tasks. Tempura battered fish for example. It isn't big, so probably not family sized, but for a couple it is perfectly sized. Minimizes your oil usage too. The draining rack thing is both clever and very functional. A good tool!

I moved away from a lot of fried foods but social media made me buy this pot. I knew once I saw it the benefits of having a dedicated fryer would be essential for me. From eggrolls to wings to fish to desserts. I see this living in my kitchen.The pot is sturdy and versatile for any dish. I ordered the medium and immediately regret not purchasing the large. I guess I will just have to purchase that one as welll. The included thermometer helps make sureI maintain a steady temperature. I truly love the splatter guard and believe it is underrated. This keeps my cooking area clean and grease free. I am a true fan of this pot a like I said although I ordered the medium it is the right size for my needs now.I will highly recommend you order now and use immediately. You will not be let down. Why didnât I know this existed sooner.

Addressed the issue of deep frying for a personal meal. The overall impression is that the build is flimsy, but this was only in minor respects like the how the lid attaches to the pot and the pour spout that is little more than a suggestion in the metal. However, it works well enough for purpose and can work as a small hotpot if needed.
