I have lost the keys and there is absolutely no way to get spare keys if you haven't registered your product... The only solution support is giving me is to call a lock smith, break the lock, break the desk it is mounted on or break my 3000$ iMac stand...They did offer me a 50% discount to purchase a new stand. Lovely!

The Apple iMac is pretty stable but if you have cats this is a must have to ensure they don't knock it over. A small price to pay to protect your investment. They might want to come up with a way to attach to the desk that doesn't require screwing it down. The lock is also nice since it guards against theft. Recommend.

A bit expensive for what you receive, but a reasonable price for peace of mind.When on the road (mobile office), I often take my iMac with me.Not only does the Locking Station provide security for the iMac, but it also keeps it solid on those off road adventures.I highly recommend it!

Got this for the new 2019 5K iMac. It was relatively easy to install and it worked like a charm. We live in an earthquake-prone area and so I did a shake test on the table (stronger than what we usually have) and it’s all good. Highly recommended.

Not that perfect for the 21" .You need to do some homemaid ajustment to have the 21" fiting well.But once it is done it work ok.

I bought this because my office was robbed and my iMac was stolen. After buying a new iMac, I got this to lock it down. I was robbed again right away. Thankfully the stand did the trick and the thieves were not able to pull itOff of the desk. Great product, and it looks subtle. I forget that it is there until I want to spin my monitor to show it to someone.

It is worth it to secure your iMac to a desk, just make sure the desk is not a flimsy one. Now the problems I have with this is that the holes don't line up and aren't big enough to fit the power cable through. I mean how are you supposed to cable manage that? The company could have just made one circle hole to fit the one on the iMac. The other problem I had was actually sliding my iMac into the stand. I couldn't easily slide it in and that had scratched the sides of my mac, I wish that there was padding in the prongs that hold the Mac down so it can prevent scratches and it'll make it a tighter fit in the end. Until those problems can be addressed, this is for those thinking about buying this product

So far so good it feels and looks very stable and I like the locking mechanism. I wish it would swivel - but I guess you can't have everything

This is an impressive locking system, sturdy materials, nice design, and an attractive enough piece of equipment. The only drawback are the instructions that come with it. They are not detailed enough at all and I who am really good at putting things together would have gotten it wrong if my ex hadn't assured me that a 5/8 drill would likely be too large for me to handle with no prior experience. The drill was pretty awesome,much larger than my 3/8 drill. Even he, a machinist by trade and blueprint reader from way back had trouble following the instructions. Because of his 50+ years of experience he was able to figure it out in spite of the directions.
