I can fit the high quantity of pages that I need for data input, and it has the ability to adjust the angle which makes it easier to work with my data sheets. I also love that I can collapse the holder into a small size and tuck it into a corner of my office drawer when I don't need it. The main flaw is that I can't lock the stand into position. If I bump it, or try to scoot it over on my desk a little bit the stand collapses. I tried putting fewer data sheets on it to see if it would help the stability, but it still collapses so easily. It works great in all the other points that I was looking for, it would be perfect if it didn't collapse so frequently.

I use this at work so I don’t get neck cramps while reading and entering data from various documents. It works very well.

Sturdy enough for me - I only need it for a few papers at a time. Lightweight, easy to move and adjust.

This thing is fantastic. A few times a month I have a lot of data to enter, but generally I don't need a rack like this on my desk. I was finding the large piles difficult to work with because I couldn't read them that well when they were flat on the desk, and I needed SOMETHING. I bought this mostly because it was the first thing I saw in a price range I was happy with. I did not know that I would be THRILLED by how easily it folds right up and can be tucked away on a bookcase or in a drawer. The angle is adjustable, the height of the back is adjustable (so you can use letter or legal for example), the bottom has a lip so it holds the papers on it even if you don't want to use the clip (which I rarely do because I am banging through 100 documents quickly)... I have even clipped my docs to it and folded the stand part up and put it aside when I had to change tracks unexpectedly. I am so happy I found this.

I have to say that when I opened the package, I was a little disappointed at the size. I was so used to my old copy holder from back in the day. Once I examined it and put it to the quick test, I've found it to be better than my old one as it takes up less space. It accommodates regular and legal paper. The clip at the top is also a bonus. Slides up and down easily too! Great price! Very happy with my purchase!

I've used a few document holders and always ended up going back to laying things on the desk or holding them in one hand to enter them into a computer. But with the push to be ergonomic about the setup of a sit/stand desk at work, it was suggested I look into a document holder to go with it. I needed something to sit just behind my keyboard that could be adjusted to lay back if I stood up. I wanted a lip at the bottom that was more than just a suggestion so pages could be stacked and would not slip off. This holder covered what I needed and then had a few extras. It's light without being flimsy. It adjusts height as well as tilt. It will extend up to 14" high and has 7 positions of tilt (the present image in the listing is at position 2 from the bottom). It has a lip that will support a thick book. And it folds down to a store-able size if I need to do something else with the space it will sit in. The only thing I don't need is the clip it also has at the top, but it doesn't stick out far enough to bother me. Best document holder I've seen. Glad I got it. Encouraging my co-workers to take a look at it for their desks.

5 stars for this product as it is very useful to have at home when doing computer work at home, has made my life so much easier when having to reply to letters. Quality for a small price. Would recommend this to people that do a lot of office work at home or in their working environment.

I was so hoping I would like this. I liked that you could raise the top part so I could raise the papers up to eye level - but the angle adjustment is horrible, It DOESN'T LOCK INTO PLACE!!!!!! Once you set it up at the angle you want.....if you touch it - it will collapse!!! Talk about frustrating. That is the most ridiculous design ever. Why doesn't it lock into place? Don't you usually flip through papers you might have on a stand or flip through pages in a book on a stand? The slightest touch makes it collapse. Needless to say I returned it and bought the Fellowes Booklift Copyholder #21100...........much better and it folds flat when you're not using it. DO NOT BUY this Insight Book & Copy Holder unless you like things collapsing on you! Total waste of time & money!!

Document holder is good. The material is acceptable to holding documents/paperwork and even some books. If you are considering on getting this document holder for large textbooks i wouldnt recommend it, but it can work out on smaller textbooks -- it all depends if the actual holder on the bottom will comply with you text and if clip can extend large enough to grasp the book into place (I say about 2.5 inch will work out nicely)Now the flaw that really holds this back for the busy person i am is the actual sturdiness when moving this unit around. The holder comes apart from the back and you have to re-adjust everytime..which may sound like no problem and think i'm lazy but it really gets annoying if you are going to frequently use this. IF you want a solid unit..i wouldnt recommend it, But if you want a unit just do hold up papers and some novels i would if you have patience.
