Would not use anything that would have any weight to it. I was using this for above a door and it was not strong enough to use when we would need to open and close it often. Would be great if it was not used often or had a lighter weighted curtain.

Received these today - exactly what I expected, for the price. They are made completely out of metal, and good for the price. Keep in mind the rod is thin and the finale/hardware are small. But they do the job and I appreciate them being available at the price they are (under $10). They came with a middle support, which I was not expecting at this price point. I wouldn't recommend them for heavy curtains, but they are fine with my faux silk lined curtains.

I needed a cheap rod...and this is cheap. What I needed at a price I was looking for. However, it is not 5 star quality.

Item arrived in great packaging with no damage, was thinner than I thought it would be for some reason...but it looks cute in my dining room. I'm very happy with it

Just what we were looking for an inexpensive, long curtain rod. It is very thin, won't hold up a heavy curtain too well (may bow) but works great for what we needed. We are happy with it. Update: only had this for maybe 1 year and its not holding up too well. I altered my review from 4 stars down to 3. I think it is worth it to spend the ten to twenty extra dollars and get something that will last.

These worked out great in our baby room. They matched the color of the furniture perfectly and were very easy to install.

Love it, thick enough to look expensive, cheap enough to be worth it. Install was a cinch if you've done it before. I had my husband do it...

if you are putting up super lightweight sheers, this will work. anything else, it will bend immediately. i tried sheer with large metal rings to put the rod through, and those rings made it too heavy for this rod. found one withuot and it worked. keep in mind that this rod is plastic. despite the "metal" finish. not really a great deal, but i didn't have time to go shopping and this came the next day. so that's what i paid for. it's a plastic stick that holds up tissue curtains and is painted nicely so from ground level if it's not sagging it looks good.

I probably should have guessed that the picture wasn't to scale. The bar is very thin and much smaller than I anticipated. I will have to replace these very soon, I expect.
