Ok. Here is my review of the Kenmore vacuum. I will list the good points and then the not so good points. I vacuum EVERY day. With three dogs, it is a must. So, I know a little about vacuuming.1. I like the fact that this vacuum was so easy to assemble that a caveman could have done it. Major PRO.2. I like the fact that this vacuum has a bag and is not bagless because I hate to empty dust and hair filled cannisters. Major PRO3. I can tell by the sound of this vacuum that it appears to have a strong suction. Major PRO4. The maneuverability of this vacuum is superb and is easy to vacuum. Major PRO5. The vacuum has a longer than usual cord and no use of extensions would ever be needed. Major PRO6. I like the fact that if you wanted to disengage the roller brush, you could do so with the push of a button. Major PRO7. Ther attachments that came with this vacuum gives you a multitude of cleaning options. Major PRO8. I love the fact that there is an indicator which will tell you if the bag needs replacing WITHOUT opening the door of the vacuum. Major PRONow the CONS.1. I'm not thrilled at the location of the on/off switch. I thought they could have located it in the handle, but they did not. Minor CON2. Closing the door to the changing the bag is going to be a problem down the line. I've read other reviews on this problem and Kenmore didn't seem to think this was important enough to remedy, so they did not. I had to spray the mechanism with WD-40 and give it a sharp blow with my hand, in order for the door panel to engage and close. This may cause problems down the line because, after all, it is plastic, and prone to breakage. That's why I got the 2 year extended warranty. I expect problems with this sooner or later. It's a shame because everything else about this vacuum is exceptional. I guess Kenmore do not read these reviews. They shouldSo the reason I gave this a 4 star and not 5 star rating should be obvious. It's really difficult to close the panel door when you have to change the bag. Perhaps thru opening and closing the door to change the bag will get easier as its being used. Time will tell. Still a very good vacuum though after its first use.

This is a nice, solid vacuum. It has more weight in front so the brushes go deeper into the carpet than the Shark vacuum it replaced. But it’s still light enough to be maneuvered. It uses bags, so we don’t need to empty a disgusting can of dust and debris into the garbage bin several times while vacuuming the house. The bag indicator light is still green and suction is still great after vacuuming the house twice so it seems the bags will last a long time. The small rotating brush attachment works well. The hose is somewhat more supple than most.Things to improve: The brushes on dusting attachment should be softer and longer, and the crevice tool should be longer.

My vacuum arrived the next day after I placed the order. It was packaged well and was easy to assemble. The roses gold is very pretty. I couldn’t wait to try it out. A bag was already inside and it came with multiple replacements. I was extremely pleased with the performance and suction power. It’s very easy to maneuver and the long cord allows me to vacuum multiple rooms without having to stop to change outlets. This purchase was to replace my Dyson with a non- working beater bar. I made the right choice at a more affordable price than I paid for Dyson. If the performance continues (and I see no reason why it wouldn’t) this vacuum is a definite five star winner.

The best of all worlds! Bagged vacuums are less messy in general; this one has a great mechanism that keeps the bag self-contained even when changing it out. It's an upright vacuum, it's a canister vacuum, it's lightweight yet rugged, it has excellent suction and maneuvers easily. I have never been so excited by purchasing a new vacuum cleaner as this one! Does the trick in a household with four cats, no less!

I have had this vacuum for a little less than a year. I have an Australian Cattle Dog mix who sheds a lot on a regular day, and even more so during the fall and spring shedding seasons. I’m always covered in dog hair and my house would be too if it wasn’t for this vacuum. I previously had other vacuums that were all bagless - Shark, Hoover, Bissell, and that purple Dyson everyone loves. This vacuum has outperformed all of them and it’s a lot lighter and easier to use. The vacuum came with 5 bags and in the last 9 months we have gone through 3 in total, vacuuming 1-2 per week. It’s highly worth it! Cleanup is easy - drop the bag into the trash and slide on a new one. The cord is long. I love that I can take the canister off of the base and easily move up and down the stairs and use the long hose with attachments to dust areas that are harder to reach. The fabric vacuum attachment has been great for bathroom rugs and furniture. The pet handi mate is also great for fabric furniture that gets a lot of pet hair stuck to it. It’s held up well so far! I recently had to move due to a relationship ending and left the vacuum behind, but will be buying another one because I can’t imagine using anything else.

They gave me a vacuum with a US power cord 😭, so even if I use an adapter it trips my kitchen, bedroom etc. USA use 110v unlike in Europe so I don't know why they sold it to me. Or it is just broken from the start but I guess it's because it's from USA

I was really excited to buy this vacuum cleaner as mine has seen better days. It arrived quickly and well packaged, but when I opened the box, I noticed that the plug is for a USA socket. I was very disappointed. I had to return the item, but was given a swift refund with no problems, so although I was disappointed with the vacuum, the company were helpful about the return and refund, which is why I have given 3 stars.

I like that this vacuum is light weight and easy to use especially for doing stairs. It also has great suction and picks up pet hair on carpet with ease.
