The fans are quiet, almost unnoticeable. The lights are neat as well. My laptop stays a lot cooler now, which is good because I use mods in my games.

(Dislike) : It's made of cheap plastic! There are two hinges at the front. One side was perfect, the other plastic hinge is broken off, and can lift completely out. I went on Amazon looking to see if I could get a replacement, but all they offered is for me to return it by UPS, and get my money back. I just wanted a new "Unbroken" one. I actually do like the product. It functions otherwise, so I decided to keep it.(Like) : It keeps my ryzen 7 Asus viviobook at 28 C Motherboard, 35 C GPU, and 36 C CPU. Fans are reasonably quiet even with all 6 going. The RGB looks really cool. If I had one without the broken hinge, then yes I would recommend this product. I just happened to get one slightly scratch-N-dent. I set it up even with the broken hinge, and it still works, and is sturdy, so I decided might as well keep it, rather than return through UPS for a refund, and go without a laptop cooler all together, while I would have to re-order and wait for a new one. I don't want my laptop to overheat. This laptop cooler does exacly that... COOL!!! It moves a-lot of air!

This is the first cooling pad that I have purchased. I've been manually turning on the overdrive setting for my fans on my MSI gaming laptop because of the all the video processing I've been doing lately. I was getting somewhat concerned that my laptop may be entering its twilight years, after all it's coming up on being 5 years old. Anyway, after ensuring that there was no dust or debris buildup around my exhaust ports and the fans themselves, I decided to do some research on cooling pads and decided to settle on KeiBn's 2022 upgraded model, primarily because the style looked cool, it had a plenty of fans available on it and it could accommodate a 17.3" laptop.Setting the unit up was a breeze. I settled on a height just two notches from the very top, familiarized myself with the controls and the RGB settings (which I personally like) and since the unit has an output of 5v, I chose to power the device by connecting it to a 5v USB phone charger rather than having it draw power from the laptop. Everything is functioning great with the exception of the secondary USB port that is available. It would not power on any device I plugged into it (I tried my wireless keyboard, my wireless mouse, a phone that is several years old, a USB flashlight to recharge). I thought perhaps the way I have it configured with receiving power from an outside source might be the culprit. I moved the USB cable from the power adapter and plugged it straight into my laptop. There was no change in the secondary USB port receiving any power. I should clarify, there is current moving through the port, but not enough to sustain a power on event or even to recharge devices. However, (and this defeats the purpose of the secondary port, if you wanted to utilize it while also having the computer powered on), the secondary USB port receives full power when the cooling pad itself is powered off. From my experience it is behaving like a pass-through port but is blocked when the cooling pad is powered on. I don't know if this is by design or if this is a defect (my guess is the latter). In any event, the unit does me no good if I cannot utilize that port while the cooling pad is powered on. Aside from that issue, I was generally unhappy with the airflow this thing puts out. I'll admit that I had an expectation of something a bit more powerful and forceful with the airflow. Is it adequate to where it cools my laptop down? Yes. I would prefer that the airflow output be greater in volume and with more force.Aside from the those two points (and really only one because it does do the job it sets out to do, which is to reduce temperatures in the laptop), the device is durable, the construction is top notch, it's easy to use and it's fun to enjoy the lighting effects. If it weren't for the airflow issue (a personal choice) and the potential malfunctioning USB port, I might have kept the device.
