design spettacolare. con un buon subwoofer per i toni bassi il mio impianto ha svoltato. Non sono un audiofilo ma il risultato è oltre le mie aspettative

I'm a little hesitant to buy this speaker ,but it turns out to be my best choice over some bulky bookshelf speaker since I have a small living room. I choose this speaker based from other review, cos it require a subwoofer to blend the sound properly and they are right , since I have a sub under the stairs all I need is simple and good amps. I pair this KEF T301 with SVS SB3000 sub and SMSL AO300 with 80watts to each speaker @ 8ohms . The result is very good performance and combination, the sound is SUPERB to my ears, bass is tight, mid and high is clear and not fatiguing to the ears. I got lucky to purchase this during sale, no regrets at all, an excellent sound

In running an 11.2 set up marantz 8011 with 8 t301s 1 kef center and two kef in ceiling for the atmos with a kef 12. Picture is an epic vision epson ust. My theater is absolutely complete. Ive owned a lot of set ups but for the aesthetics and ultimately the sound once dialed in this is literally a 15k set up that sounds like 500k. Wow. Now i just installed the sonos arc in my bedroom but my honest to go text to my friend who got me it was arc is good for passive listening but is absolutely no substitute for a full hd theater setup. With sonos you want the movie, with kef as a full set up you feel the movie. Big difference

Outstanding speakers !!They were purchased to replace two large front floor-standing speakers for home theatre use, and have been superb in every aspect. They are flat and when mounted alongside a TV on the wall, blend aesthetically without sticking out into or dominating the room. The sound quality for watching movies is excellent, and far surpass the previous 'conventional' speakers.Yes, they are expensive and you will need to supplement the very low frequencies with a subwoofer, but the mid and high's from the speakers are superb and when considering you can install them in rooms which are impractical for other conventional speakers - wow !!Extremely highly recommended.

If I could give these more than 5 stars I would. I have had many speakers and receivers in the past. I am not an audiophile...but I know when something sounds good and when it does not. I have these 2 speakers with the centre channel and an Infinity PS 212 powered by a Marantz SR 5009. I have 2 Monoprice in-wall surrounds which serve their purpose well. These KEF T301's look amazing on the wall and sound incredible. I hear all kinds of stuff in movies and music that I did not hear in the past. I don't understand how anybody could not be pleased with these. If you have the right amp powering these you will be very happy with them.

Absolutely delighted with these speakers!!! Very clean sound.Due to my block walls, I could not install built in speakers for my left, center, or right speakers. I tried a KEF 301c, and was really impressed. I used KEF's Ci200Q built in's for my overhead and rear surround speakers to complete my 5.x.2 Dolby Atmos system. To complete my system, I needed a subwoofer. I tried the KEF T-2 subwoofer. It was very clean but not nearly loud enough to fill my 20'x35' room with bass. My quest included trying a loud but boomy Black Friday Klipsch R-12SW and a surprisingly quiet and somewhat boomy SVS SB-2000. Since the 301's only go down to ~138Hz, many subwoofers, including KEF's Q400 and R400 will create a "bass hole". I realized I needed a subwoofer that could hit 150Hz within the upper -3dB, or 50% lower of the nominal volume, limit.I ended up utilizing Sound & Vision's subwoofer reviews and tried Hsu Research. After talking with Hsu, I decided to go with the ULS-15 MK2 in Rosenut. Wow!!! I have never heard bass guitar chords this clean. It pairs beautifully with the KEF 301's! And even with my large room, I have only had to turn it to 55%.

KEF knocked it out of the park with these bad boys!First let me say that I am a very serious audiophile. I have worked in pro audio (both studio and live performance), and I can tell you the bitrate of an MP3 by ear. I also take my music and movies very VERY seriously. However, the wife didn't want big huge speakers on the floor of the family room or stuck on the walls, and the construction of our house prevented me from doing in-wall speakers. Flat panel speakers were the only real option other than just using the TV speakers (her idea) which is completely unacceptable, right? So, when building out my "designer" home entertainment system, I was expecting to have to make some sacrifices in the quality of my soundstage. KEF had other plans though...To be fair, these simply are not full range speakers, nor are most home theater speakers on the market. They NEED a subwoofer and a good one at that. The only weakness (as is to be expected) is in the lows and low-mids. However, when paired with an appropriate subwoofer (one that is comfortable up to 100Hz) and a decent receiver/amp, the sound out of these speakers is simply AMAZING. They perform flawlessly up to reference levels on both music and movies. Their sound is flat, balanced, and very accurate. The soundstage they throw feels massive. Their power handling is great and can accurately reproduce all 90 watts of discreet amplification that my Denon puts out. I have yet to hear them clip or distort on anything that I've thrown at them from EDM to acoustic to cinema. I think they really shine brightest when watching a live music blueray. The bank escape scene in "Heat" also reached a new level of awesomeness when heard on these speakers. They simply blow me away.I have a hard time believing that anyone would be disappointed with these speakers. Oh and did I mention that they're flatter than a pancake and look really sexy? Yeah, that too.For reference:Denon AVR-1712KEF T301, T301C, and CI160SRSVS SB12-NSD

There's certainly something to be concerned about when you look at these and see they are slim, low profile speakers. I hope this review makes you think otherwise.I don't need to talk about their looks. They're simply beautiful and when paired next to a flat panel tv...stunning. People will see them and ask lots of questions. Most important is the sound. It's perfect. These are made to be flat on the wall, and acoustically made to send the sound out in all directions. I've seen questions about people asking how to angle these in, but its not necessary. The sound fills the room in all directions.Highs and lows are great. You can really make out all the sounds that are put out through these. Watching something in DTS is unreal.Pair these up with a 301c in the front and a 101 in the back and you have a heck of a setup. I don't have the sub, but I've heard great things. These 301s are the real deal.

Had to replace my Kef i90's as my 1 year old was getting too close.Using them with my Onkyo NR709.So i stayed with kef and installed these on my wall besides my TV. Installation was easy. But i'm not getting that full sound you I was looking for. They do the job. I guesss thats what you expect from low profile. But they look great. I'm just scared to turn them up too loud. I feel like they might damage.
