This air pump was perfect for an aquarium move and is nice and powerful. Currently, I am using it to run two bubble filters in my quarantine tank. I may move it to a show tank and use the included airstones.

Very strong with plenty of tubing and nice air stones that I decided to keep in my tank after I moved to another state. It kept my fish & aquatic plants safe and alive in a 5 gallon bucket for 3 days, being charged once during the second day. It's not noisy and has a clip to attach to the side of a bucket. It works great and will come in handy if the power goes out. Worth it!

Used it a few times, exactly what I wanted. It was a bit expensive compared to other pumps, but I wanted a decent rechargeable/portable one.

I am glad I bought two as the charges didn't last nearly long enough as described.... We were in a hurricane and lost power. Even in intermittent bubbles stage they went through the batteries in about six hours each. Had to keep charging them, but they took forever to charge and thus there were periods when my aquarium had no movement. One fish died, but the others made it. I think I need to get 2 more jn order to ensure a steady supply of bubbles. (And a generator.....) Thinking these would be great in a bait bucket for fishing though!I had no problems with the functionality and sturdiness of the pump. Kept changing the pumps out and used the same air tubes.... and the connections remain intact. I also have no issues with noise? Even the sound of engagement on the intermittent level was muted.... and the aquarium is in our bedroom. Not a heavy device and the air flow produces lots of bubbles and I like the appearance much better than my electric powered sponge bubbler. All in all.... I recommend.

Seems to work great for me. I left it plugged into the charger all night and it kept my bait alive nd still had a full charge the next morning, ready to go fishing. Unit is NOT well sealed from water intrusion. I had it out on the pier for 6+ hours and it still was going well. You can see the green light on the front, even in daylight pretty well, so you know it is working. You can barely hear this thing in a quiet environment, it is almost silent. On another day, when it got low on charge, it went into some intermittent mode where it would run for a few seconds, than stay off for 10 seconds or so, at least until it finally died later. Seems useful, and will save me money on D batteries for my bait pump. Edit: not great for saltwater bait pump use. I was relatively careful with it, then it gave up the ghost within a few days. NOT sealed at all, so any drop of salt water will get into it and ruin the electronics. Tried to clean and dry it out, then the charging port quit working. Great for clean and dry environments only.

While this is a compact, well built and functional product which helps keep fish alive longer in a tank, also with a great battery life, has two design defects which I cannot understand what they were thinking. First it is very easy to turn it on accidentally because the power button is located in a position where you would naturally grab the item and the slightest touch will hit this button, but worse and less understandable, when you unplug the charging cable it automatically turns on, why? If you don't realize it's on, you may well be depleting the battery while you travel to your fishery. This happened to me the first time because this device is very quiet while operating. I do hope the manufacturer can improve these flaws with the power button and the unexplainable auto turn on after the charging cable is unplugged.Edit: After reading some reviews I realized this item may designed manly for ornamental fish tanks. In my case I am a fisherman and use it for a different purpose. To me the auto-turn on feature is a problematic and the capacitive button is inconvenient in my opinion. I understand now that for people with fish tanks in areas where there's constant outages the auto-turn on feature may come in handy. Not for me, unfortunately. Every time time someone in my household "helps me" charge it they leave it on after they disconnect it.

I should start this review by saying a must have for any aquarist. But if you’re like me you have hundreds or even thousands invested in your tanks. I have been wanting to purchase an item like this for a long time. But never took the time to find one I wanted. Due to a recent move I decided to just spontaneously buy one without much research. Well I picked the right one. First off this one has a recharge li-ion battery that lasts a LONG time. It also has a 10 second on 10 second off setting along with continuously running setting. If you’re using the ten second setting, which I imagine you would use in a power outage situation, this thing would last a couple days. It can then be charged with a portable battery pack via usb like you use to charge cells on the go. I used it for moving a 75 gallon tank to my new home and a new 125 gallon tank. All inhabitants survived and are thriving and I even used this device for several days to increase the surface oxygenation. It has a breezy life indicator built in so you know when it’s time to charge. I ran the 10 on setting for over 40 hours and my battery indicator was still amber meaning it had approx half its life left. Get it. Don’t wait for a power outage to teach you a lesson. You won’t regret it.
