Item description says it comes with #13 blades, which are very hard to find and the man reason I bought this set. It comes with #15c instead of #13 so the description should be amended.I might keep them just to have a variety of different blades. I’m pretty sure the other negative reviews are due to user error but if the blades don’t fit the handles I will edit my review and take it down to 1 star.

Good selection of blades, came w 4 handles. But a bad flaw at least for my older eyes. The blades come in a foil wrapper individually wrapped and like 8 blades in each bag. Its very difficult to tell the blades apart. There is a little stamping on the foil wrapper thats very hard to read. Other than that I see no markings anywhere on the package. C'mon guys these are scalpel blades that might be used in a sterile environment. Make a better effort to mark the blade wrappers. Cant give over a 2 star due to this issue.

only using them for super basic cutting and usage. They blades are sharp for my needs - so if you need them for cutting anything major you might need a sharper blade brand.the handles are really good. solid. The longer one (#7) is good for getting under petri dishes without hovering over the plate. Have good control with it, and having the extra handles is nice to set up so you can switch out for cleaner ones OR just incase you drop one.the blades lock on well, and don't pop off easy. They're sterile and packaged well - but easy to open with gloved hands inside still air box.would recommend as a good starting set for mycology.

Yes you get 4 different handles and 6 different blades, BUT the blades DO NOT fit on the handles. They are made for completely different handles. WASTE OF MONEY. I'm returning
